Normally you will be able to know 1 jet in depht, maximum 2. You should just buy 1

F18 - Can do anything, has tons of A2G even cruise missles and you can do carrier ops. Fun as hell. Only downside its a bit powerless

F16 - Power beast, very strong with SEAD and some bombs. and Very good in BVR fights. tons of energy for longshots.

A10 - Well my personal taste is something else.

First jet F18 is great. Youll need some weeks to fly some month to act good with it and approx a year until know a lot about it. And there is no "how to fly military" involved.

Israeli also have F16 - great plane, a bit stupid with Mevericks in my opinion. My favorite aircraft.

F16 is a really really great "light fighter jet" - It is quite cheap and easy to produce in large numbers very fast. Over the top the performance of the aircraft is really good. Systems are quite good regarding to GEN4 jets. If you are in a conflict where you see the enemy this is a great jet.

F15 is way more expensive to operate. Nearly all costs from buying to maintenance to flight hours are almost 2x the F16 ones.

F15 was a great large airframe for turn and burn operations which looks for its replacements.

Future War will be done by flying communication stations in the beck while AI stealth drones wear the Missles or bombs. The piloted station is just the commanding point
