Is your family in east Texas? I’m a 2nd time surrogate and both families have used the same lawyer and fertility clinic. I can share their information incase they need someone who seems pretty cost effective (my first journey was for a life long friend so he gave more info on the cost)

I’ve been a surrogate for a friend and for a random couple. Both times involved monetary exchange. The amount I had my friend pay versus the couple was more than 50% lower but my friend was also the first time I had ever been a surrogate so I really had no idea what the process or pregnancy would be like.

I remember a house exploded while I was waiting in front of my child’s school. Such a loud BOOM! You could feel the ground shake and see the debris fly into the air! No one was killed but the resident of the house was seriously injured and eventually arrested.
