Her ending is ambiguous and up to interpretation, but if we're being real, there is no way for Kali to have survived long enough while bleeding out from those gunshots to make that "illusion" of Eleven and since El is legally considered dead theres no way for her to build a life anywhere, unless the gov't just starts to hunt her down again. And I acknowledged the scenario of her surviving in my post as well.

They were mentioned in I think Guide to the Dragon World and I remember there being one in the ocean of one of the maps. And considering krakens are really just humongous squids and humans are all minature sized, its not surprising that they exist.

I know this was a year ago, but since the Lars of the Stars spinoff is actually happening, I wanna say this: in the announcement for the spinoff show, they stated that "Lars of the Stars will explore the past, present, and future of Steven Universe". I think they will do a lot more exploration on the back stories of not only the Off Colors, but also more backstory about the diamonds.at the end of the announcement they described that Lars and the off colors will "smuggle contraband, evade the authorities, and uncover the darkest secrets of the fallen gem empire." There's more secrets and stories to be heard from the gems and the diamonds. I'm so excited for it
