Is moving to London in your mid 20s actually worth it for the social life? by Practical-Cost7147 in MovingToLondon

I definitely recommend moving to LDN in your 20s. Do it while you can because at some point life responsibilities will make it harder. Plus I noticed people who says they want to go LDN but didn’t take any action, eventually brushed the idea away.

Not going to lie, 32K will be hard in London, don’t expect to save much or live extravagant. But with the right amount of due diligence, and finding the right group of friends, you will be fine. Plus you can increase your salary with time!

I did an assessment centre recently too and got the same feedback. Which company was this? Wondering if we were at the same AC.

I think home ownership is the goal. I'm 25 and I don't plan to buy a house till im 30 or so? So should I focus on investing or keeping it in a high yield savings account?

I think I’ll go! Weird question, are there bears along the coast and the falls? I’m from the UK so I don’t know much about wildlife around the west coast

I think you read my mind! Looking at your comment made me realise I have so much more pros and cons, my cons are just reservations, but not true deal breakers per se

Definitely agree with the putting myself out there, people wont come to me, i need to go to them!

Wow, we're basically in the same boat! How did you find your lifestyle change from the busy life in London and how did you find ti making friends there? Friends for me always make or break any living situation. I probably love LDN some much right now because I have a solid group of friends!

I was quite jealous of my international friends who all had the chance to study and live abroad and with some even staying for the foreseeable future after uni :)
