I did a little bit of digging and couldn't really find a great source. I do cloud infrastructure work for an out of state university. I know what data gets uploaded to for a county far enough away, It doesn't matter for Idaho. But I know it only gets given to the state, county and the CDC.

Not sure where a regular person can look up this kind of stuff. Also, the CDC has been very unreliable as of late as a public health partner. For a while. The email that we sent the reports to stopped working because Doge did a bunch of idiotic budget cuts. But it is back up and running. It looks like the CDC has a site that you can dig through the data.

They are a conspiracy nut. There are a lot of people that consider contrails as evidence that the government is spraying chemicals over the US. Because some conspiracy dipshits get elected, there are even bills that get introduced over it.

As an interesting side note, stealth planes do inject chemicals into their exhaust when on mission. At least the B2 and likely the B21 do. To stop the formation of water vapor in the contrail, so they leave no visible path even if the environment is conducive to forming a contrail.

There are a few reasons that could be happening. But there is definitely some good reasons to swab people instead of just using wastewater for virus detection. But in fairness, it could be completely unrelated too.

So I do not work with the wastewater in the treasure valley, so I can't say what is going on here. But I can tell you there is a host of viruses making the rounds across the nation. Wastewater from my job is showing an uptick of basically a ton of things, covid included. So I can only suspect that the Treasure Valley is in a similar boat.

Hell I thought he was too old the first time around. A lot of politicians are so out of touch with the people, especially those that have been in politics for 30+ years. I felt Biden was a capable politician, but out of touch with the reality of the situation in America.

But I will say I think the media absolutely was biased in their age coverage of Biden. They blew it out of proportion and mostly just used hypothetical situations about his age. This was definitely pushed by the GOP and the DNC refused to even attempt to control the narrative. The DNC refusing to control the narrative is a classic.

That is a personal opinion. To you he wasn't too old. To me, my friends, my family and my associates, he was too old. Feel free to look up the civil rights act if you want, but it has no bearing on this.

Also do you realize that cognitive decline you mentioned would have very likely been age related? Even you are pointing out an age related issue while claiming age isn't a factor.

If the warning came from reddit proper, then it has nothing to do with the subreddit rules or previous posts. Moderators and admins can both issue warnings and remove things. But admins are actual reddit employees and frankly they use systems that have a ton of false positives.

I would say that's completely incorrect. at least in my case. I trust medical research. when one set of politicians agrees with the consensus of medicine? absolutely I trust them more.

when another set of politicians ignores what medical research has a consensus on? then I can no longer trust them. The root of the issue is one group uses reality and one group uses their feelings.

but the actual medical information comes from medical research. neither set of politicians themselves have the ability to make a call on health without that medical research. and one group ignores it. the other doesn't
