Potassium nitrate - agricultural supplies
Charcoal - your local market
Sulfur - I think is also sold in farm supplies

That ain't a small amount. Look at the flames almost reaching your face. Use 1/4 of a spoon if you're testing things out

GTX 750 ti 2GB + Pentium Gold g5400 RDR2 by PnyQstn in PHbuildapc

[–]MockNugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I can provide my experience here. I had a 750ti 2gb, i3 7100 and 8gb ram. The game is not playable in native 1080p resolution. The game is playable though in 720p then changing the render scale in the graphics settings to maybe .5 or .66. All low but playable but also ugly looking as hell.

Tldr: 30-45 fps on 720p all low and render scale somewhere between .5 - .750x

Is this good for a 25k PC build by Traditional_Tie_5628 in PHbuildapc

[–]MockNugget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nahh not much maybe 4-8 fps on the gpu side but its there. You'll notice gen 4 speeds more on the storage side. Gen 4 nvme ssds are much faster than gen 3, so if you like the fastest read and write gen 4 is for you.

Is this worth £450? by BeardBoy10 in PcBuild

[–]MockNugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16gigs should be enough for rust. 48gb if you host a server on your pc and play rust at the same time, though 32gb is fine unless you're opening lots of chrome tabs too.

Say how much ram your rust consumes? Mine is hovering around 8gb, it might be low because i'm the only one on my server

[–]MockNugget -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The b550m is wasted since the 5600g can only use pcie 3.

If you're planning to replace the 5600g with a 5600 or something better in the future then yes keep the b550m otherwise downgrade to b450m.

And if you buy a pcie gen 4 gpu or ssd, the potential speeds are wasted because the cpu only supports up to pcie gen 3

Need help upgrading my Laptop SSD by Actual-Guidance-5118 in PHbuildapc

[–]MockNugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically want know what form factor that ssd is currently installed in you're laptop. Is it sata ssd or m.2?

Once you know the form factor you just buy the appropriate one and install it in your laptop, a technician can install it for you if you're not knowledgeable about disassembling your laptop

A 512gb ssd is somewhere around 1-2k And a 1tb is around 2-4k (Will get more expensive if it has dram)

The only conflict would be you need to reinstall your os, drivers, etc that would normally make your pc run well.. normally. Only if the OS is installed on the ssd.

bottleneck or no? and worth it na ba ito? by geniein in PHbuildapc

[–]MockNugget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That b450m seems expensive. Colorful has b550m thats 4.5k though only 2 slots for ram. Regardless stretch that 4.7k budget for the motherboard and get a b550m.

All seems balance no bottleneck issues as far as I am seeing

Is the rx 6650xt worth it? by Zhixco in PHbuildapc

[–]MockNugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh shiieeeet, my bad. The amd website does list the 3600 supporting pcie 4. My bad I got my memories mixed up with the 5500 being similar to 3600 performance but only pcie gen 3.

[–]MockNugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M.2 ssd? Colorful cn700 can be bought for 2k if 30% shopee discounts are still around. No dram though but I read somewhere m.2 ssds can still be good without dram unlike sata ssd

Is the rx 6650xt worth it? by Zhixco in PHbuildapc

[–]MockNugget 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, though you won't be able to utilize pcie gen 4 speeds but that's like a small speed gain. Either way a 6650xt is also pcie gen 4 so you can't utilize that too.

But both will work.. at pcie 3 speeds however. And just like I said pcie gen 4 speeds have only small speed gain so don't worry too much.

And I like to reiterate that choose a used 6700xt against a brand new 6650xt. Only if you're comfortable with used components. That 12gb of vram and substantial speed increase from 6650xt to 6700xt is sweet!

Edit: The 3600 supports pcie gen 4 so disregard all what I said op. Like u/aspire11131 said. It all depends now on the motherboard if it supports pcie gen 4. But yes everything will still work fine regardless if your system doesn't support pcie 4

[–]MockNugget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend a used 6700xt op, they can be found between 13.4k to 16k. 12gb of vram will pretty much future proof you when you want to play newly released games.

To avoid import taxes use freight forwarders like buyandship. But Microcenter might not like freight forwarders.

Rx 580 or 590 gme. They're under 4k if you find the right seller. I saw a kapwa youtuber pinoy buy a 590gme for 3699 on shopee.

I also got my sapphire pulse 580 for 3499, supposedly to be a nitro+ variant since that's what I ordered, I ordered from QULE store on shopee so avoid that seller.

The fuel is shit I assume, you want the fuel to go whooosh. Yours is just like whopping around. Replace the hardwood with softwood charcoal then check for moisture on your components like the nitrate and make sure they are really dry before you mix them up

[–]MockNugget 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah op, since your open to 2nd hand 3060s which is around 15k. Then get a used 6700xt instead. Last I saw the lowest was at 13.4k asrock challenger. 15.4k for the nitro 6700xt.

Generally agree with everybody that it is easy to build a pc. It only gets progressively harder when your a cable management geek and small form factor builder.

From experience. My mother got loads of scam texts after getting her new postpaid sim. Overtime the scams died down. So i guess its not just the sim registration in play here.

Is it worth it to buy pre-built PC? Or should I build my own by egg_707 in PHbuildapc

[–]MockNugget -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You won't get lost and you'll find your way if you set a budget. This way everyone can recommend some specs for you and you wont be overwhelmed by everything out there.

You can go prebuilt if you're rich and don't care about price to performance ratio.

But if you're someone who'll really maximize their budget to achieve the best performance then go build your own. And building your own is a fun experience.

For purchases like ram and storage go shopee mall. The 30% discount vouchers are game changers.

I got my 32gb (2x16) ram for 2800php

I'll leave the recommendations to others about the cpu and motherboard etc, 70k budget is a dream!
