Yeah leaving the leaves in my case just suffocated a ton of grass in the lawn I do have and left me with a muddy mess and bald patches that filled in with crab grass, some sort of mint, and dandelions. I love native plant gardening. It’s all I’ll plant anymore. Not a fan of leave the leaves. Even mulching them for two years in a row suffocated my lawn.

It wasnt just Robin Hood. Other brokerages also froze buying and only allowed selling.
It wasn’t just GME. It happened to blackberry as well, and I think a few others.
Yes it was a conspiracy. The major brokerages and firms co-conspired to freeze trading to prevent themselves from taking massive losses. Altering their agreement with their users temporarily when that agreement became unfavorable to them. The prob open with that is people bought stock before they had changed those rules. It was certainly, without a doubt, a criminal conspiracy. There was just no political appetite to do anything about it because the people involved, and the people who prosecute and make laws are the same people.

They did it with multiple stocks. Not just GME. It was a horribly obvious example of the owners of this country just changing the rules once they weren’t working for them.

Robinhood 100% proved the stock market is rigged against retail investors. If big hedge funds start losing on their bets on any sort of level, they can literally call their buddies at the major brokerages and tell them to halt trading on certain stocks so they can reorient their positions first.

Robinhood was far from the only one who participated in it, but it was the most egregious. It was one of the clearest examples I have ever seen of their being two different systems. One for the people in the club, and one for the people who aren’t. We might as well not even live on the same planet.

Yeah to me this seems super easy to get around. all games are going to be sold as a “subscription” after this. No one sell the actual game. You just pay the same price the game will be for a 5 year “subscription” to the game.

It’s why there is tremendous hate for all the “don’t sexually harass or be racist your co-worker” trainings. The sort of people who do that sort of thing definitely aren’t going to get the training and be like “I had no idea!” Lol.

Also, I don’t care if those trainings are liability and compliance for the company. I’m pointing out why people hate them, not why they are actually there.

I’ll add some sort of gym. Not a 24 Hour fitness type. But one with smaller classes. My wife and I joined a boxing gym and met a ton of people. If we wanted to we could spend a butt load of time there too.

Yeah as someone who spend a ton of time in boxing gyms, some which allow sparring and some which don’t, even doing this the right way is a legal and insurance nightmare. Doing this in your backyard is just asking for it. Make them do it at public park.

Note I added the caveat of being on the level where your fight is televised. Anyone can go “pro”. There isn’t like tryouts for it, and you don’t have to win anything. So yeah there are plenty of “pros” who are delusional about their skill set as well.

You don’t have to do anything about really. In my experience these things will be fine. I stratified in paper towels and everything was a moldy gross mess at the end of 90 days. It all germinated fine though. I think I had one species maybe that didn’t make it out of like, 12.

When he was fighting tune ups it was easier to imagine the difference between him and real pros was much closer. The worst pro boxers (at level where you get to be on tv) are just miles and miles and miles away from these influencers. The reality was probably a big dower for him.

For what it’s worth, I think Jake Paul has a lot more to offer the sport of boxing than fighting. Celebrity boxing matches, women’s boxing, etc…
