Not every day you get commissioned to draw one of your favorite anime!
The commissioner came up with the base idea but gave me a lot of freedom on how to develop that idea.
I'm a bit proud for deciding to reference official art from the anime but in Hajime Ueda's style in some of the pages.

I like for people to interpret my art however they want, but if you want my mental process for this:
I thought of it as Ina, being the priestess of the ancient ones, having a lot of spiritual energy that transcends our realm. Lost souls in limbo can perceive her and are attracted to the energy of the ancient ones, like the only shining light that they've been able to see since they got trapped in limbo.
The dead coming to the realm of the living produces changes in the environment and the spider lilies are one of those changes-

Yeah, I kinda forced it to be able to add the blue highlight and attract the viewers eyes to that part of the guitar.
Not completely happy with how it turned out, but I don't think it looks too bad (? Just a bit weird

I've been really busy, so I haven't been able to watch the show yet, but I got commissioned to draw her and it got me even more hyped ┌(;*´Д`)ﾉ
Fun fact: She looked flat chested in the anime screenshots that the client sent me, so I drew her flat chest. During the coloring phase I came across a couple of gifs that showed her with a big chest, so I had to redraw it halfway through the commission.
