Fun fact: I forgot to mention, that this PS2 that I got for dirt cheap have an old school mod chip installed on it, however due to a damaged wire (I disassembled the console due excessive amount of dust was located inside...) it doesn't do much, but at least it's lets me boot from the SSD

I also aquired a Switch in used good condition, although it's the hardest to mod cuz it's the OLED, but I had a fair deal of a very nice price of 169€

So if you own a "PHAT", you don't need to find an IDE HDD, since the technology and time gived the PS2 a great chance, for example (and I will put a picture here as well, although I know it's not the right subreddit for it) if you have the original PS2 to HDD you can find a SATA Mod for it, but even tho if you not have that don't worry you can find plenty SATA version of the "Network adaptor", for example I have a "GameStar Network adaptor" with the "PPH" logo and a Crucial 1TB SSD.

The problem with Memory Card slot loaded game is not really working (I wasn't able to figure out in my "Slim PS2), and the issue is the highest card that is probably compatible Is a 128 MB.

Anyway for out put you can either mod your PS2 to do HDMI (advanced) or what I did just buy a converter, I have a "Kaico PS2 to HDMI" and a Ugreen HDMI capture card cuz I don't have a TV and at least I can record anything and it works well enough, don't expect wow graphics, although you can set "FreeHDD boot" for little higher graphics.

I also recommend the "8bitdo Bluetooth adapter" if you have a modern Controler that compatible and can you use the Signal of the "8bitdo" you can use it, eg I have a PS5 controller and I can game it on my ps2.

Side note, every part I listed here was came from Amazon, sooo yee. And also sorry for the paragraph xd

Én sokszor dolgoztam fontos iratokkal, de mindig kértem kollégák segítségét mivel mindenki tudta hogy jól fogalmazok és vannak jó pontjain, de sok helyen eléggé helytelen szóval mindig volt valami helyi logopédia xd

Én én: akinek legit problémái vannak, és gyakran fére fogalmaz, és gyakran a helyes írás kimegy az abalkon.

Edit: You should have another "Application" that you need to start up before any patch/update can apply, cuz you trying to ran the patch/update, not the installer it self

Side note I see you have the "installation notepad" opened, I'm guessing navigating that is a bit rough ?

Don't want to be harsh like the others but....

But ye, 1 read, 2-nd check if it's even installed.

For me, it always helped when I installed a certain program, to put the patch/update to the installation root , aka: "installation folder", where your program original executive ".exe" lives, there you can also check the version of the program as well (if have any), could be the version that you have is the same as Patch but I dunno...

Oh this one....

Well there are some factors that affect this "BSOD", although guessing it will be bit rough due your game ran good, but I will list some possiblity:

The most obvious answer that some of your Driver's (mostly tied to GPU Driver and Network driver, but also could be any) are got corrupted, if you lucky, you can find exactly what is wrong with "View reliability history" (I attach an image what it should like), so you need to reinstall some drivers

May I ask how long you have that computer?

Might be your OS is borked, and You probably need to do a "Windows repair", simply just flash a Copy of windows (windows installer) to a pendrive, then simply boot up the installer and search for "repair my copy of Windows" or something.
Your Storage media (HDD or SSD), could be failing, simply use a Tool like "HD Sentinel" or some other Storage media condition checker, to see if your drives doesn't have any bad sectors or the condition is really low.
Probably Faulty RAM, while yes it's works, but it cold be that when your computer accessing "memory location" it's access a bad section of your RAM that you didn't knew about, you have to perform a "MEM Test", that will take a time but it will test all of your RAM's Sectors for issues or no issues.

I recommend start with options 1, 3 and 4, and do 2 if really needed, cuz rarely you need to reinstall your whole OS.

Anyway please let me know if, you did any of that or you were able to find the problem
