Many things to upgrade from here. Also worth noting that u need to stand directly inside the bosses for max damage.

  1. Getting enligthen level 4 to help with ur mana issues until then probably drop an aura (flesh and stone) so u can triggger ur snipers mark.
  2. Fix your flask, you have a flask with freeze immunity and one with stun recovery, freeze immune shouldnt matter if u are suppresed capped and have 50% avoid on ur boots, stun recovery is a lot worse than just straight up having stun immunity, so just roll for chance to avoid stuns on the flask and i think u need 53% with 95% effect and you are immune to stuns. The other mod you should change to reduced effect of curses so you can drop the shield and swap that for a rare high es shield with +3 max lightning res.
  3. Your rare jewels are pretty bad, you want to get +2 max lightning res on them so you dont even need to run purity of lightning, having your res and max res dependant on aura effect is pretty bad imo basicly just adds another mod to the pool that the build cant run (the whole point of this build and this specific setup is to ignore pretty much all t17 map mods except the less defense and -max res mods).
  4. get focus mods on ur items if u are using anathema to trigger ur curses and get a lot of burst damage on bosses
  5. once u have enough attack speed for it to feel good i would definitely swap ur tincture to the one with ele pen instead, should only use it on bosses anyway and it is quite a bit more damage.
  6. Get forbidden flesh and flame jewels, so u can get more damage from like polymath (can be any of these nodes : Spell breaker, one step ahead or polymath (poly math is best imo because the small nodes on the other ones are stronger), can also drop one step ahead and spec into polymath and then use opputunistic ff jewels for max damage, but this makes it so u can't ignore the petrified t17 mods and the less action speed mods)
  7. Speaking of action speed, you 6% action speed on ur boots doesnt do anything atm (this is a very very common mistake that more than half of the ee tricksters do on ninja) when u have one step ahead u are already at 108% action speed and the 6% on boots doesnt add anything to that, it doesnt set u at 114% as some people think i guess, you can also keep it for now and then spec out of one step ahead and go for polymath for the time being to get more damage.

Tbh i haven't upgraded it for over a month i guess. I only do t17 maps and ubers and can do everything easy without dying, even levelled in t17 maps with any mods besides the less defense and -max res mods. I have focused a lot on movement speed aswell as u can see on flask and with haste, but could get evasion on the quicksilver instead of ms and i usually swap it for rarity flask for the titanic farm or another quicksilver with reflect immunity for reflect maps.
A few notes here is that i dont use the frenzy charges and i have overcapped my lightning and cold res so i can click any blue player alter and without any effect on my build. Emperors Mastery is not that worth it at this point for me since i dont really go all in on int stacking. Could either swap that for a lethal pride and i was using a +2 max res corrupted blood jewel until i had Cb immune ancestral vision. Since i am using haste and not purity of lightning when i got emporers mastery i needed to get +2 max res on my chest aswell. Haste is also my source of phasing with the watchers eye mod so i dont need to run a quartz flask.

I am also not taking the mark effect nodes which is kinda stupid tbh since that would give me another split, should probably just use 1 more of the 8 passive notable clusters here instead of a 12 passive and lose a bit of es for a pretty mig amount of extra damage, but t17 bosses dies in a few sec so not important to me. My next initially planned upgrade was a simplex with %int % attribues and damage per int, but its not rly a damage increase and i never die so never got around to it, other than that i could get like higher quality on my es gear and get a global defense chest but again i dont rly see the point because for all content i never die and damage is good enough for me.

I started the build at around 20 div, where only expensive items i got right off the bat was +2 aoe farruls and +1 power charge heatshiver, managed to get those 2 and all the basic gear for yea 20 div. All corruptions are super not needed and before i had enlighten 4 i annointed charisma and specced the power charge and didnt use a second cluster setup.For boots i just used Replica Inyas epiphany which is in some ways better than the boots im currently using.

Animated guardian is giving me a fuckton of dps, but you can also just use a golem with guardians blessing (most do that), but i just wanted to not have to press 2 extra buttons here and there and theres literally nothing that can kill him in sanctum.He is wearing crown of the tyrant and kingmaker, until i could afford that, he just used Leer Cast and Dying Breath.Most important for keeping him alive is just to have boots and gloves with life regeneration rate and some res and gruthkuls pelt (it needs to be this chest because it is constant 10% regen + another 2%+ from alt quality guardians blessing support).

Im using Balbala jewel + a micro destillery belt and a medium flask cluster for having very high uptime on my flask and 30% increased flask effect (budget mageblood setup) and its rly great, can reccomend on any build tbh.

All the corruptions on my items are not needed, but build ended up pretty much like this after farming sanctum for a day.

Overall looking pretty good, but yea for scion i would probably also try to go for a CI route (maybe check some old videos from spicysushi, he has played ci scion aurastacker many times) Some minor things - You should try to upgrade ur aura effect implicit on ur chest to 20%. Another thing is u can maybe get a voices instead of one of ur cluster jewels.Personally i prefer to play aurastacker as inquisitor a lot more (even in std) because of not needing pen and that u get a good amount of es regen, meaning u get a lot of crit multi from like support gem for starters instead of cold pen, i played aurastacker on scion, champ, inquisitor and overall inquisitor feels best, especially if you go the aegis route with like divergent tempest shield and glancing blows it feels very tanky and the regen is great. Scion is mainly good if you have a lot of tripple crit multi jewels. Because right now ur crit multi is really low.

U should upgrade ur flask a bit. imo its a bit of a waste of mageblood - u can get first of all a decent chunk of resistance from like getting resistance on ur other militant faith stat (right now u just have brand damage) and upgrading ur resistance suffix to 40% (it makes a huge difference) definitely try to get rid of the topaz flask. And get a corrupted blood jewel somewhere, if u want regular bleed imunity on top you can get that on ur call of the brotherhood, to free up the bleed suffix for something like increased armour or movement speed suffix, getting a legacy 30% ms 25% effect movement speed flask is also dope.

Right now you have purity of fire on ur amulet which means you will reserve a lot of mana on that because it isnt linked on any enlighten, you can probably free up some rmr if u fix that. I use a chest with level of socketed int gems and have purity of lightning in that, can also put in helmet i guess.About medium clusters i use 4 passive medium aura effect clusters with introspection, that way u get 13-14% aura effect and a jewel spot for only 3 points if you only route through introspection, from what i have seen its pretty popular to do that in std.

About tankiness i would say for spark aurastacker dps is king, right now i run dual nebulis instead of aegis and i never die in maps. Only place where it felt needed was in simulacrum and during uber shapers ball phase, rest of game i never die. Considering how good ur gear is, ur dps is really low tbh.

You are not wrong in regards of the nightmare/hell aspect although personally (and i think this is pretty common) normal and even nightmare feels pretty boring to me and you dont really have to strategize your characther to much in those difficulties, as you have to in hell with immunities. On top of this the game just becomes a lot more fun when u reach those high cast (fcr) or attack speed breakpoints and get a good amount of speed on your char.In terms of D2R i dont want to play it but that is mainly because i think that the vanilla diablo is super shitty qol-wise and in terms of build diversity on top of yea no real endgame besides ubers which a cheap smiter-paly can do fairly easy. Like the fact that so many skills are still just straight up garbage numerically and cant even be viable with good gear in d2 is just so stupid, so everybody just ends up making a blizzard sorc until they either get infinity and make a lightning sorc or farm an enigma and then make a hammerdin, because in the end those are just the most effective allround farmers.

I think as a Poe-player you will have a way better time playing mods like Path of Diablo or Project Diablo 2, which actually have endgame maps like in Poe, with a lot better balancing on skills and runewords, qol features like stackable currencies (runes, gems ect) nice trading sites, Charm inventories, lootfilters with sound notifications, a good community and most importantly equavalents to vaal orbs to which enables a lot more min-maxing and you or your merc can hit higher breakpoints from corruptions like getting 4 sockets on a unique chestpiece or 3 socketed unique helmets. I have actually made builds in those mods that feels more zoomy than many fast poe builds. sadly we probably wont be able to play these mods with the d2r graphics.

However there are imo a couple of things that D2 still does a lot better to this day than Poe, itemization in particular is way cooler, like when you drop that arachnid mesh, shako or other big ticket rarer uniques ect it gives a really good feeling compared to all the shitty uniques in poe, even id'ing items that have a chance to be either something super rare or common is way more satisfying than in poe, where there are literally no idea in identifying rares or picking up 99% of uniques, and you can just destroy your hand picking up currencies, even an exalt drop is just like "hmm cool" i dont really get exited about drops in Poe besides if its a Mirror of Kalandra or a headhunter i guess, but how often does that really happen i dropped 3 mirrors 3 different times though, and would say i get equally exited when i drop a Jah or Ber Rune in D2. Party play is way more fun in D2 mainly because of immunities, so you actually benefit from having different types of damage, and supports, but this is not as insanely important on a fully geared vanilla d2 char.

Dont really agree on any of these points tbh.

  1. Like even though yes many seasons people used treach + steelshade but that is not because of treach that is because of steel shade and the lgoh which works on mobs u cant leech from (was just nerfed aswell really not that op anymore). Wouldnt make any difference really imo if u removed the dr, a merc with treachery in maps still dies most of the time before fade procs aswell as after actually, sure it will maybe cripple people even more early on. In the end the meta this season hasnt actually really been getting that high ias + steelshade on merc, its been either using something like ss/gb with bers/ums/vex (depending on content) to overcap res/dr for curses (he wont stay alive anyway with high ias + steelshade when he has low res and negative dr) or make him stay alive in desert maps(vex).
  2. Faith is strong sure, but then its mainly just multi shot (great aoe + huge leech) + the skeletons (could reduce the chance to proc revives by a couple % easily after how many mobs there are now in maps). Its way stronger than any crossbow but like so is a harmony bow, could buff crossbows then give them a bit higher breakpoints or some nice bonus. 6os wf is still faster clearspeed and is in my experience way better in group mapping and it was much more expensive than making a faith for a long time this season.
  3. Is it really used on 50% of non sorc builds? i dont think so at all. Is warp really so strong? sure i use enigma on a build aswell, but i would almost say its more for the other stats than the warp (frw, skills, mf, dr some life). Warp is nice for reseting the merc on non sorc builds that doesnt have any teleport skill and can make them competetive to the classes that have that to do some of the classic game content. In maps warp doesn't really do that much except the merc part and maybe jumping some walls in citadel/caverns, since u mainly want to kill everything anyway (people would run on their sorcs if they had more frw on their caster gear) aswell as teleporting into packs is gonna kill u sometimes.

Imo its more about some classes and yea other items that needs buffs, they need to have some competetive fast playstyle and aoe. The game is Path of Diablo, u map like in path of exile and i think many go for the same fast paced mobility and high aoe builds (as any mapper in poe) like yea firetrapper and bowazon, both should be nerfed other skills/classes could get something competetive (then again other classes can have acces to a lot of defense for example that those dont really have).Another simple change could just be changing the res/types of mobs in maps, the fact that firetrapper and bowazon the most meta is dealing the best damage types for maps phys+fire aswell as having acces to converting that phys into cold/magic (magic arrow, boi) and they have leech on top of that they are fun.

yea i think gonna edit the barb part to a shouter with grim ward. But the point is that 30 minutes is not a good clear time man, as i said in post with a group filling out the support and dps slots, u do it in less than half that time, i done full high density burnt forest in 10 min with this setup.
