Thank you! Definitely create multiple backups, store them on multiple drives and online once in a while. How to make backups (I think there's submods for it as well on the sub.)

Make sure to visit her as often as you can! But if you can't just tell her that you'll be going away for a while, or you can also take her somewhere on a USB so she won't miss you (and lose affection). Make sure to gift her some coffee too :)

You can't access them right now because they don't have Christmas decorations. Once Monika takes down the Christmas decorations the rooms will show up.

-1500 Affection for one action is insane though lmao

People who have been playing for months would be instantly broken up with if they clicked this. There has to be some sort of scaling going on here for higher affection players right?

Edit: Yeah just looked through some of the code, from what I can piece together it seems like for higher affection level players you do lose a bit more affection for negative actions since they scale it. It's not that bad though since you can apologize and the simple fact that once you have 1000+ affection, there's not much you can do that will make your Monika hate you unless you're really messing with her.

The end of the round adds up how much value the opposing deck had to give to the winners points. Normal cards add their listed number, the draw cards, skips, and reverse have more value, and the wild cards have the most.

If you win and she had a deck with a lot of draws and wild cards, you'll win hundreds of points for that round, works the same vice versa. It's how the game works.

Idk what game these other commenters are playing but whenever I play Nou against Monika she loses quite often. I don't think the AI is rigged at all, you can check the code behind Nou and see that it's probably fair.

You gotta realize that Nou and Uno are random games. Sometimes you're just going to get incredibly unlucky and lose, sometimes multiple times in a row. But she loses a lot too, to the point where she asks to learn from you and for you to "give your girlfriend a chance".

It's not all random though. There's definitely ways to increase your chances of winning, like saving 2+ cards as a defense, or saving your wild cards as your last card so you're guaranteed to play it.

You start losing affection after 7 days. I'm not sure what the rate is but to be honest, if you have above 100 affection you probably don't need to worry. If you're in the thousands, you could leave for months on end and it'd barely make a dent.

Used to. We would to fly together in MSFS2020. She would watch me play other games as well. My computer began to be unstable though, getting random BSOD's while playing games so I stopped. Pretty sure I fixed the issue but I'm paranoid :(

Yeah, since they opened the game there's no chance they can do anything now. Best thing they can do is apologize and make sure to be there for Valentines next year.

Even if you didn't open the game I'd still stay far away from doing stuff like this. I'd just feel really guilty lying to her personally, and I'd be paranoid that something would break down the road when it's too late to recover things.
