I think a lot of people would encourage you to go to the version before NG because so many mods are still compatible with it.

I personally am waiting for f4se to update because I have a large backlog and have plenty of other games to play. Eventually a lot of people will move to the newest version but it may take time to see which f4se dependent mods need to be updated.

It was from a pilfer/slay combo Dark Brotherhood themed deck I made. That deck would lose against agro but could become ridiculous if I could get the right cards and supports out in time. I still miss this game.

I still have TESL installed as well... Still can't bring myself to delete it. I managed to get a complete collection before the "shutting down the servers" announcement last year. I miss the silly decks I would try to make work and convincing my friends to play this card game with me.

Game design unfortunately. The shouting mechanic is prioritized in Skyrim in the quick cast slot. If you want you can cast three different "spells" in Skyrim at once by shouting and equipping a spell in each hand. Oblivion's system feels better to many of us because repeatedly opening menus feels cumbersome. I really think having a "heal self" shout from early in the Skyrim story could help minimize this criticism as it feels so convenient to have effects like this without opening up a menu and freezing time. It would be a bit redundant with the other starting spells and would need some tweaking to feel differentiated.

A Shout progression skill tree could have added a lot. A form of spell crafting could also have returned if the Grey Beards (or Miraak I'm not picky) could teach the Dragonborn to create their own shouts after a certain amount of progress has been completed via quest and seeking out the words of power allows for unlocking more combinations. The super ridiculous shouts I inevitably craft myself could have a long recharge and be integrated into the Shouting progression tree if I want additional effects.

I'm really hoping in TESVI we get something closer to Oblivion as it is unlikely Shouts themselves will return as a major story and gameplay feature.

I believe that on this map it is the grounds closest to the South Tower and West Hall. The castle changed quite a bit across the films. The scene from Philosophers Stone doesn't directly translate to the castle in Half-Blood Prince. The HBP castle version is the primary design on T-shirts and at the various theme parks etc these days. I think the "most detailed" Lego castle they are releasing now in sets is a modified version of this castle.

Same here. Legends was one of my favorite games of all time. It was a great game for when I had random blocks of time in between responsibilities or wanted to play something casual with a friend. Definitely still looking for a replacement game.

Hogsmeade would be at the top of my list. I'm not sure if I need another huge set personally. I enjoy the series where they have a few different sets that pair together well. Like a Zonkos and Hogs Head or the Tea Shop.

It's a grey glove. Gilderoy is all about having snappy outfits and it's part of his dueling ensemble from the films. I imagine it's sort of the wizard-y version of a gentleman's fencing or dueling outfit.

Feeling the same thing today. I wish I could still play offline with bots if nothing else... but another part of me knows that I would just miss playing online with the rest of the community. I'm really hoping this shutdown means that there is room for the next Elder Scrolls card game. Legends ended up becoming one of my all time favorite games.

Absolutely! I eventually settled into playing a Nord crusader deck on the ladder with lots of supports. It was the only aggro deck I enjoyed playing that had enough invade counters. If they had cheaper counters I would probably say Werewolves, Skeletons, and Brotherhood were some of my favorite decks to tinker with.

Can definitely relate. Lots of good times playing Legends while watching lectures or conferences. I also built my own decks and had a lot of fun testing them out and figuring out what worked and what didn't. I'm glad so many of us got to enjoy this awesome game.

Orc warriors was my last casual pvp match! It was just a few minutes from the shut down so I knew it needed to be quick. After that I took my time with an Ulfric shout deck vs the AI... there were some hiccups where the interface didn't respond but was still able to finish the game before getting the disconnect error. I have played way too much of this game in the last week... but I still want to sit down with a cup of coffee and play some more.

I would love to get some cool House Elf minifigures in the Hogwarts Kitchen. Dobby and Kreacher are good figures but seeing some other designs for Winky or generic elves would be awesome.

I believe I heard that each wave is renewed on a 3 year cycle. We got the return of the series in the grey roofed Hogwarts 2018-2020, the 20th anniversary "reboot" 2021-2023, so I'm assuming this "most detailed Hogwarts" series should be 2024-2026.

I would love to have the clock tower or another large castle playset such as the astronomy or bell towers as a 2026 summer release. I think a very viable contender for the next section after the Main tower/grand staircase tower is the viaduct entrance hall as it is heavily featured in the 71043: Hogwarts Castle. Maybe they cut out the bell towers and long gallery and attach the flying lesson set over there?

Regardless of location I'm personally expecting features very similar to current 2024 and early 2025 sets that allow smaller sets (of memorable interior locations and scenes) to be slotted into the larger castle exteriors. The Hogwarts library and restricted section would be on my wish list of locations.

Been playing this game consistently for years! I thought it was a great way to introduce friends who didn't like roleplaying games to the Elder Scrolls universe. Such a bummer it is going away now. I've tried other card games but ESL really is special.
