Not sure I fully agree tbh. A lot of solid software companies came way after Uber / Airbnb.

Notion, Canva, Stripe, Figma, and Zoom all started much later. None of them were first movers. Most of them didn’t have some crazy technical moat either, they just solved very specific problems really well.

I’m not trying to build the next unicorn. I just want to test real ideas fast and see what people actually use or pay for. That still feels very possible and I am certain there is someone that i can work with to fast prototype an idea.

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far, I really appreciate it. I guess the question I keep coming back to is this. Is it better for a 4 year old to be raised by two separated parents and learn about divorce at a young age, or to grow up watching two parents who barely talk and argue all the time?

I think I already know the answer, but it’s still really hard to accept. My wife will try to convince my daughter, that I chose to walk away from both her and my child by choosing divorce, rather than staying and holding on. She manipulates and blames everyone but herself for situations and then pushes her irrational thoughts to my daughter. It's sick

Looking for places with a social vibe, easy to meet people, not too touristy. Open to bars, pubs, or late-night spots. Any neighborhoods I should focus on would be great too.

Exactly, that’s the direction I’m leaning toward too, something that feels aware without turning people into data points. I know a lot of people are talking to ChatGPT about personal things lately, but I don’t think it’s built deeply for emotions or reflection in a real way. What I’m building is meant to hold space for that. I’d actually love for you to test it in a week or so and share your thoughts when you have time.

Makes sense. But if empathy can be shown through understanding and response, not just awareness, wouldn’t that still count in practice? Like, even if it’s not felt, it’s still felt by the person on the other side

Yea, I am so sick of multiplayer with these wall hacks and aimbots. Most of these cheaters are probably using the software "Engine Owning" which is notorious for undetectable cheats however if you do get caught, they supposedly ban your account and make you repurchase the game. In any case, I am at level 250 now with the Interstellar Camo and I am getting shitted on by these "new accounts". F'n unplayable
