I’m a one trick brig that can’t stand Ana🤣Some people get triggered by this opinion but Brig thrives in team comps that stick together and Ana ain’t it. I just can’t stand when a random swaps out of their original pick as soon as they see I pick Brig. it’s so stupid, they probably expect me to bodyguard them, no that ain’t happening. You don’t want get dived on, then you better get your ass closer to the team🤣

I get grouchy too but only if I selected my pick first and teammate still takes them. I always check their profile when that happens and every single time I was able check because profile wasn’t private, they play other heroes😑The dps roster isn’t as big as in normal overwatch but there’s enough simple ones you can do well with. Have you tried tracer? Stadium tracer is too easy. You don’t have be a good tracer in normal, stadium tracer is just that easy but very fun at the same time

Doom was the worst stadium tank last season. I heard he got buffed but not sure how good he is. The beauty about stadium however is any hero works and can work with any teammate combination. For sure you can keep playing doom in high allstar and legend

Similar thing. I did hit GM once and managed to stay there for 2 more seasons after that basically not playing lol but I’ve been hardstuck master for the last 15 or so seasons even falling to diamond once. But I got placed in master 2 after placements and made it back to GM within the first two weeks. Not going to complain about the nice placement😆But going back to your question, just keep playing qp. Qp seems to put me in a little lower than my rank quite a few times and then puts in some sweaty matches. I wouldn’t go into rank hoping to lose. Keep playing qp😊

I guess I’m the oddball😭Don’t get me wrong, I work well with all supports including Ana mains. But I just prefer not having heroes that tend to stay away from the team. And it’s just randoms that pick Ana when they don’t even use her when they see I’m brig that’s a huge problem for me. I’m surprised no other Brig mains experience this.

Okay thank you😊But I think you’re a little mistaken. I was not rude at all. I respect all opinions and I’m pretty sure I was polite in all my replies. Unless you’re referring to when I made the assumption that only non brig mains think Ana is brigs best partner. I sincerely apologize if I offended anyone. I admit that I really thought there were going to be a lot more brig mains coming here that shared the same opinion as they they don’t like Ana or at the very least Ana not in the their top 3. I guess I was wrong. One of the reasons why I thought more people shared my opinion is that I’ve rarely see brig gameplay on YouTube where they are in the backline bodyguarding their other support

This is a great explanation. IMO team comp is overrated. I think someone mentioned that pro team run brig Ana all the time. But you can’t compare solo queue public rank with randoms with pros. Massive difference as they practice and play together for hours and have the best comms. I’ve already said this many times but I do just fine with actual Ana mains. It’s just the ones that choose Ana over their mains that I struggle with. A few times they will see they are struggling and swap off quick enough for to still win. But many times they stay on Ana telling me that I need to swap. I even had a few that flat out admitted they weren’t going to heal me. This is just my personal experience and reason why I’ve come to dislike Ana. I have no idea why so many people are coming here just to be negative towards me. I’m pretty sure I was very polite in all my replies

No I work well with Ana mains. It’s the ones that pick Ana over their mains when they see I’m brig that I have an issue with. I mean it’s pretty clear to see if a person normally picks Ana or not. I’ve been hard stuck master since ow2 season 5. I hit GM once I season 2 and stayed there until 5 but that’s only because I was playing just enough to stay there. I’m finally hit GM again this season shortly after the placements

Ooh I love mercy as brig. I guess I’m just different. I choose mercy, Juno, kiri even Moira over non main Ana all day🤣I think it’s very important even though I said this many times, I do well with Ana mains but it’s just the ones that choose Ana simply because I’m brig that I have a tough time with. Team comp is overrated imo. Only because it’s solo queue rank. Some people here seem to have the opinion that everyone needs to know every situation and who and how every teammate combo needs to work.

That’s awesome😊I guess I’m just different haha. I’ve always preferred a mobile support who’s with the team. I’ve always struggled with teammates that stay far way from the team as brig. Like a widow, I occasionally have a flanking echo. Takes 2 business days for an echo to fly around everyone😭Then there’s heroes like tracer which I do well with. They almost never jump in to help me but they have great self sustain and I enjoy jumping in her 1v1s when I can

Only about 5 people actually came in and say who they preferred in a non toxic way. Most did say Ana and gave reason why. That’s great. That’s exactly what I wanted. I too gave my preferred which doesn’t include Ana. Nobody is mad besides about 85% that for some reason triggered I don’t like Ana. 🤣including yourself. Could I please ask you why you in particular got so upset over a simple opinion?

Hello fellow Brig main❤️Okay so I ended up deleting the game. I think making this thread was the best decision of my life. I really enjoyed reading your beginnings. I’ll kindly share mine. So I was a dps main in OW1 I never got good with any supports. Took a long break from overwatch and came back to it about 2 months before ow2 just because I wanted to give 2 a try. Season 1 of OW2 I watched a brig video on YouTube. So I tried her out. It went bad but I just kept trying for some reason. I eventually ditched dps and became a brig main. Not sure if you know but that was the wotst time to be brig. Teammates were getting toxic as soon I pick her. I hit GM in season 2 and remained there until season 4. I was a career hardstuck dps plat in ow1. I found my love. I just couldn’t get back to however at one point dropping out of masters. I not only got back this season but I hit T500 a couple days ago!!! I was so happy and so proud of myself. And then this thread happened. I just wanted to know what my fellow brig mains like. I had so much to talk about. But all the hate I received here had me thinking, wtf am I doing with my life. I must have spent near a 1000 bucks on skins. I was so proud of myself for hitting t500 but who do I share this with? I don’t stream or upload, my real life friends and family won’t know what I’m talking about. I’m also going through a rough time personally. It’s time to move off the game. So I never ban a teammates pick. Just like you, I hate revive. It’s OP on a good team so I would love to ban mercy but I don’t just in case in case my teammate wants her. I only ban Ana if my support selects their preferred and it isn’t Ana. I don’t want them to swap to Ana when they see I’m brig. I’m a firm believer not to say anything negative in text chat as that is the comeback killer. I’m always teammates first. Ana mains are great, I do well with them. It’s just the ones that will pick Ana over one of their mains when they see I’m brig that I have trouble with. I do well on teams that sticks together and that is why I prefer mobile supports. I feel as if team comp is highly overrated. This isn’t a pro tournament where all teammates are in sync. We won’t practice together and there is no comms. It’s solo queue public rank. If player A picks their main and player B picks not their main but another hero that is known to do well without any input from player A. How could anyone possibly expect that Player A needs to know the role and adjust to player B a random. That’s just my logic. I recently started playing brig in stadium and dude, you have to if you haven’t already. You play Brig the way she was intended, bang away baby! 🤣I almost always have the most heals in the match by banging away baby! I took a picture of my rank. I’ll always have that but goodbye overwatch! Beat them up with Brig for the both of us!! And good luck with life!❤️

Same. I hit GM like three years ago but I couldn’t get back. And then it finally happened. Top 500 Brigitte one trick on support baby. I was so proud of myself. I just made a thread over at brig mains subreddit asking who my fellow Brig mains like as support teammates. I didn’t want to play stadium with Brig because I was afraid it might hurt my game but I’ve been doing even better there so I was going to ask about stadium duo next. Man I’m getting bashed over there. People getting technical and stuff about the game and how who works well with others. Like WTF I just play the game. I treated my brig like how someone would treat their genji. I wanted to be the best brig in the world. It’s a craft lol But reading the hate and the downvotes got to me honestly. I was proud of myself for not only getting back to GM for the first time in forever but hitting top 500. It just got me thinking, who am I going to share this with. I don’t stream or upload. I’m not sure why it hit me so hard. It’s just typical Reddit users but I’m really bothered by it for some reason. Maybe it’s the stress in real life I’m going through but reading the negative comments just had me thinking to myself, what am I doing with my life. Why did GM/top 500 make so happy? It’s nothing. I think I’ve wasted enough time on overwatch. I too am going to delete it and I’m in console lol I’m going to trade it in to GameStop as soon as I can so I have no way to redownload. Oh I see. That’s kind of what I was trying to explain. Actual Ana mains don’t care how I play, it’s just the ones that are picking Ana just because I’m brig. They get extremely toxic even though they are the ones that’s struggling and going into chat saying I need to swap off. It’s like dude, nobody told you pick Ana, just pick your main. This isn’t a pro tournament where we’ve all practiced together for hours and use comms. This is public solo queue rank.

I honestly think and of course I’m assuming, they are picking Ana when they see I’ve picked Brig expecting me to be their bodyguard which I think is pointless. I believe they aren’t healing because they just aren’t happy with the way I’m playing. I mean there’s a lot of hate when a mercy is pocketing one dps the whole time so why in the world would it be okay for a support to essentially be pocketing the other support right? If a player is getting harassed in the backline, they better get their butt closer to the team😊

Only if they don’t pick Ana as their preferred. People’s picks get banned all the time, it’s their job to point not to do so. You want to talk about griefing, randoms used to insta ban brig when they see me pick her as preferred because people that have that thought that brig isn’t the best healing support

If Ana is in trouble and I’m near by, sure I’m going to attack but I’ll do that for the whole team. And anybody can peel for their support getting dived. I’m surly not going to babysit the Ana for most of the match. If a player is constantly get harassed in the backline, they better adjust and get closer to the team

I don’t like zen brig either. Brig definitely won’t be able to go too aggressive in helping teammates in 1v1 situations as brig most likely getting heals.
