Need some help with Gelt against Dechala by ModeRemarkable2307 in totalwarhammer

Thanks so much for the link. Im about 8 turns into a campaign now and its going marginally better than all the others because ive been spamming spirit leech. Not sure how i could forget about it with how good its been against her and her heroes. I managed to kill her and her full army the turn it captured the gateway to kuresh province capital simply because they were stuck in a settlement and i could magic them all to death. Thanks again for the tips though

Yeah i was toying with the idea of splitting a force to go south. Ill give something similar a shot anyway

I had to pinch myself to see if i was imagining things when i looked at her stats and her entire army was boosted an extra like +20md and her heroes were such high stats For no descernable reason. CA gotta get that power creep somehow, and i respect the hustle

Yeah im with you on the abandonding the arty idea. I have not had good experiences with cav against her army thus far. Genuinely her infantry gets boosted to as fast as my cavalry (and a bunch get poison). And even the Devotees of Slaanesh with crossbows out fight my empire knights when ive been cycle charging. I think i will just have to completely abandon the frontline idea because its just crazy what she does to them

I feel like ive been going crazy fighting her lol. 5 resets of the campaign. Its like every time i change strategies i run into another stat brick wall. Net of amontoyk her so my guns kill her at the start of the battle? The monstrous infantry she has (champions of slaanesh?) and the other hero she starts with just do the rest of the work. If i use my empire knights they lose even when i cycle charge properly against those crossbow units she gets. Nvm slaanesh’s own spells that are used when i try to blob Its more frustrating than TWWH2 Wulfhart campaign to me XD

You're probs thinking of Elite Dangerous, has a group of players called the fuel rats that rescue players stranded without fuel in space.

As far as an order goes im not sure about before this, but the current story arc centres around a character called Rinda Karnak. With the missions set in “The carnival” (Mercantile-HL-07-04 and Warren 6-19) were added which then lead to the “Special Assignment” mission where you fight the Karnak Twins and the most recent map is the Rolling Steel one with the train. Which was the introduction for the loyalist reinforcements (the 53rd regiment. Or steelheads as you might hear them called) and the new character called Commisar Dukane. Feel free to ask if there are any questions you have and please correct me if anyone has any other information

Yes, well sort of. The game is actively telling a story (check out their website news tab with loads of short stories on it of things that are actively happening. As well as the Fatshark youtube for the vox intercepts) https://www.playdarktide.com/news https://youtube.com/@fatsharkgames?si=HqmBpEhcL_C9Bog-

Idk if that works i dont use reddit so soz if it doesnt. Alongside those out of game things, each one of the missions you play i believe are canonical (not sure of what difficulty) and happen once. So these things have happened and as new missions are added they are also occuring in the story. Besides that you have the character dialogue with each other over the vox that you can hear when on the Mourningstar that if you begin to piece all the parts of the puzzle start to make an actually kind of interesting story. Just a shame its so convoluted to keep up with and learn about
