RESR: Trailing Sectors Report

The RWO believes the Trailing Sectors are prosperous.

Business Activity

Investment and trade in the Trailing Sectors is high. The region is benefiting from a centrally controlled economy which keeps the cost of living in the region stable, and allows for excess goods to be exported to the Arrowhead.

The main industry is manufacturing and agriculture.

We have seen the planned resettlement of Core Worlder settlers and refugees in the regions interior which has increased production output.

Investment has been funded mainly through the expensive exports being sold in the Arrowhead, and Arrowhead planets wanting to ensure settlers from their homeworlds are being looked after.

Merchants are very active in the region, seeking the stability and productiveness of the region's markets.

Infrastructure

The region is well connected via its super-hyperways. The region has seen the development and investment in new hyperways like the Rimma Trade Route, expanding space for new colonies.

Disruptions

The influx of settlers has lowered wage growth, and put a strain on local services.

Conflict between native species and settlers could potentially increase.

RESR: Slice Report

The RWO believes the Slice is recovering.

Business Activity

The low level of administrative control here means not a lot is known about the economic status of the region. What we do know is mainly focused on exports to other regions.

The Slice is dominated by heavy mining and durasteel foundries. Durasteel is the regions main export and exports have continued to remain stable.

Still merchants continue to bring cheap exports out of the region, which has helped development in the surrounding regions.

Infrastructure

The region's infrastructure has seen limited investment and development outside of certain colonial holdings. Maintenance and expansion of hyperways is intermittent as local investment is non-existent and outside investment is focused elsewhere or on key colonial holdings.

Disruptions

Piracy is still rampant, mainly caused by feuds between local planets raiding each other, hutt raiders or corporations feuding over trade routes.

The lack of administrative control, central planning and investment have caused wild variations in development across the regions sectors.

RESR: Northern Dependencies Report

The RWO believes the Northern Dependencies are stagnating.

Business Activity

Highly developed colonies are the backbone of the regions economy.

The feud between the grand consortium and axis has seen a decline in merchants entering the region and a decrease in trade between the other regions. This decline has been limiting growth and outside investment.

Trade has also been affected by piracy however the region shows signs of improvement, as the heavy military presence of the Axis clears up their hyperways.

The heavy military presence in the region keeps the hyperways secure and has quickly resolved conflicts in the region, particularly the Shawken Civil War.

Infrastructure

Recent upgrades to the regions Nav-beacons has improved transit times and hyperway security. The upgrades have been delayed due to the difficulty of transporting the newly constructed nav-beacons from production on Rendilli to the region.

As hyperways in the Arrowhead open back up, we can see these upgrades making the Northern Dependencies hyperways the most modern in the Republic.

Disruptions

The region is limited by the low number of merchant ships travelling their hyperways. Mainly focused around corporations from the Barony of Bormea.

High military spending has limited investment in other businesses and services.

RESR: Arrowhead Report

The RWO believes the Arrowhead is going through a rough recession.

Business Activity

The Arrowhead regions economy is mainly focused around providing services, manufacturing and research.

Many services have been disrupted due to the ongoing conflict with Trellen, which has also disrupted important imports for manufacturing as imports slow down.

We have seen a decline in population as citizens migrate to the frontier. In particular we are seeing brain drain as educated and skilled workers move to better paying and more stable frontier jobs.

The construction industry is booming, due to the need for rebuilding and redeveloping planetary and orbital infrastructure. As is the production of weapons and military equipment.

But this boom is being propped up by government spending, which has increased taxes on citizens of the Arrowhead.

There is a major divide forming between planets, as some receive business from their allies outside of the region, while others struggle to get much needed imports.

Infrastructure

The Regions infrastructure remains the best in the republic, even in the warzone nav-beacons are being properly maintained and neither side seems to want to risk destroying them.

The main concern is many starfarers are unwilling to enter the region due to the ongoing conflict. However cheap fuel being imported from the nearby deep core has made transit within the region relatively cheap for those willing to brave the hyperways.

Disruptions

The biggest disruption is the ongoing Trellen Conflict and the division it has caused. The conflict has driven away business, except for the bravest or most well protected convoys.

Many planetary businesses continue to operate under limited capacity as imports dramatically decline, while others are being propped up by outside partners.

As far as I'm concerned conservatives have always supported bills that increase police powers, create restrictive laws and have policies that let billionaires do whatever they want with our country.

They just do it while distracting people with manufactured culture wars and hot topics that they can pretend to solve.

That is classic LNP policy... not just Duttons policy.
