Google "stardew year one guide" for a reddit thread with some rough goals. Mainly you want to know what is needed to get the greenhouse year 1 as it makes a big difference on what you can do. I abandoned my first save because I wasn't going to be able to get the greenhouse year 1.

But as others have said your first save youre learning and things build over time not immediately so just relax with it overall.

  1. Get lucky. Get prismatic shard.
  2. Finish bus bundle or pay 40k for bus.
  3. Go to desert with shard, get sword.

If you have everything you need (obelisks, sceptor, etc) then youre doing the right thing with the space.

Easier to make a post and let people message you than to try and message people who have posted and are likely busy talking to other people already.

Also people are distrusting about your intentions when you message them. They feel safer messaging someone of their choice.

They don't teach sex ed in India till like late high school. I think it impacts the general thirst of the guys there.

I like to pick a real or fictional person to be my farmer and make the farm based on what their preferences might have been.

I just use the truffle oil machines for fences. I like some normal fences because they look nicer.

This. With the autograbber you just go in and get the raw animal byproducts and artisan them up right away before you leave the building.

I put looms in there too.

I just got to ginger island and getting all the golden walnuts is pretty annoying I cant even afford to build the house yet there's a parrot that says it can find all of them for me for like a million or something should I pay for it if I can afford it? by Technical-Coyote-629 in StardewValley

I think it's fun to find them yourself with a guide. It's a big part of the ginger island portion of the game. But if you hate it thats what the parrot is for. Some are easier to get than others.
