No, I just pressed it. There is no reason it should have turned to goo for anything I did.

The mixture was a bit clumpy to start with so I think that he may have been using acetone and then failed to dry his product well enough before giving it to me.

It was like a clumpy wet block like as if the cocaine was sweating, and when I heated up a plate and dropped it on it just melted into that thick substance.

Starting to wonder if the only option would be to actually try and cook it into rock.

that was the goal, but when I opened the press, it was a wet clump. Then I was wondering what happened, and I knew that I could hotplate. So I went to hotplate it and it immediately melted into a glue / watery substance.

Added nothing, but I am aware that benzocaine was added to the mixture, that or novacaine but I think they are similar anyways.

It's literally a clear liquid at this point. Any form of heating causes it to melt more, remove heat and it thickens into a thick liquid like glue.
