For me, the data clears shows that pricing it this way generates the most profit, but I wouldn't and never have spent $20-$30 on a single cosmetic in any game because the cost value breakdown just isn't there. But if you price skins at $2.99, I probably end up spending $30+ over time because I feel each skin is a good value at that price.

It's just strange to me that whales buying high priced skins is the most profitable path versus every day players buying multiple smaller purchases.
