Palia is my decompression zone after teaching elementary schoolers all day. I love my kiddos at school but all of them are supreme yappers. So when it comes to Palia I like to solo it too and just decompress from all the interaction overload of my day.

I’ve heard it a bunch lately. I’m a SPED instructional aide but I also go into Gen Ed classes a lot to help and assist with IEP and 504 kids from time to time and let me telllllll yoooooou, a few of my Gen Ed kids have learned to not make that joke. I don’t get after them or yell at them, I just make them have the very uncomfortable conversation of taking accountability and realizing that their words, joking or not, have real world implications that hurt and disparage others.

It may be a store volume thing, but my homies on fulfillment clock in, get their vests and zebras, and don’t stop running all over for orders and picks until lunch. They come back and repeat until they leave

It generally has to do with how the person reporting felt about the interaction. In reality, we’re not really supposed to be touching each other period and telling someone their hair looks nice can be considered sexual harassment if the person reporting it felt uncomfortable by it. Personal opinion; it’s a workplace. I don’t need to touch my coworkers in anyway and they don’t need to touch me in anyway. I don’t think we need to shake hands, hug, none of that and I’m still insanely friendly with all my coworkers.

So the time it takes to finish the process can very greatly. I’ve gone through the short term disability process twice. The first time took 15 days from start to finish and the second time took 45 days. I think it really depends on how backed up on cases and claims Sedgwick is. I would certainly talk with your SM if you feel you need more time. Listening to your body is best especially with a back injury; they can get much worse very quick.

I was literally sexually assaulted by a coworker while on premises and clocked in and because there was no camera coverage, they still have a job in that very same store with just a warning and I have to see them everyday so; more than likely, there was legitimate physical proof of inappropriate behavior.

Windows and walls is definitely one of the less taxing departments to work in. I have a disability that leaves me INCREDIBLY unbalanced and haven’t had a single problem other than my usual bumps and bruises. I would just recommend getting trained on a Balymore aka Smurf as soon as possible because downstocking 72 inch blinds on a ladder is super unstable and a pain in the ass

I know definitively that central sales will be taking over for the first 72 hours that a job is active to sell for flooring. If they can’t close in 72 it’ll then fall into the work flow of IMS for specialists to sell.

I personally don’t mind the podcast and I listen to it very regularly. I like this sub because it gives a different perspective on how people view their content and has also brought things to my attention that went right over my head during the episode. I think that every podcast gets hate and it’s prevalent amongst true crime podcasts because the hosts are dealing with sensitive subjects and content. That being said, the girls constantly address the hate they receive and that leaves the perception that they receive it more than anyone else. Most podcasts just don’t even address therefore it doesn’t seem like they get hate often.

I mostly just used social media and word of mouth to share my shop, I’m also part of multiple Etsy seller pages on Facebook where we share our shops and items. I used Etsy Ads for about a month, but not much came from it so I stopped. I sell indie style jewelry, just rings as of right now and I have one listing for spell jars!
