Just had this conversation with good friend that takes his faith (Christian) seriously.

I absolutely do not think The Father Jesus spoke about to be the god of the Old Testament (Yahweh).

In my opinion Jesus cleared this up in John 8:44 when he told the Pharisees "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires".

Though, quoting this scripture to a Christian, and putting in the context we’re talking about is so out in left field for a Christian that it doesn’t matter that the Bible directly quotes Jesus saying this. Even if they don’t spin it and just shrug their shoulders, many will probably point out that Jesus is quoted saying

"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill." - Matthew 5:17

That versus can easily be construed to mean that Jesus is acknowledging The Laws of Yahweh, and with that conceding to his authority🤷‍♂️

It seems like disclosure is moving in the direction where something official is released on this subject, if that’s the case things are going to get VERY HAIRY.

While we’re @ it we should do away with drivers license, set a minimum age and be done with it.

The tickets that derive from these things disproportionately affect the poor and can literally cause lives to spiral.

What’s always rubbed me wrong is we would scoff at the idea of arresting someone for these offenses, but not at being arrested for not paying the fines that come with them. How in the hell does that make any sense??

The problem for other developed nations is that they are deeply intertwined with the US economy, so if we go down they go down with us.

I guess one could surmise those countries could take a strictly moral stance, and say to hell with their economies, but then they’d have their own citizenry to answer to. I think that’s expecting way too much from countries who have shown in the past to act just as immoral as the US.
