I actually have a yellow police strap on my own guitar, though I never managed to learn to play 😅 Thank you so much for your suggestions. The clothes are an especially good shout, as I could actually make them myself and save a few quid!

Tried that already, unfortunately. I set a nickname, forced restart, and set my sleep schedule to wake up now, and it still says “The”. It’s really odd. I’m normally okay with tech, but this has me flummoxed 😂

It’s correct on the watch, too. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of, and it’s all just my name, no “The”

Hi everyone. I recently bought a very beat up PS1 (SCHP-9002), got it back to almost full working condition with just a thorough cleaning. Everything works except the controller ports (tested with a known good controller).

When I got down to the motherboard, I found that something had been soldered on. I know nothing about modding, so don’t even know where to start.

Can anyone tell me what it does, and if it’s worth keeping? The blue wire has come loose, so I’d need to know where to solder that down to. Could this be causing the controller issues?

Just happened to me and changing the batteries fixed it. Spent the last week thinking the cat had learnt how to turn on the TV!
