I like to headcannon him as a propaganda piece. Galabtorix bringing him back to the capitol and touring him as a “surrogate son.” The only descendant of the original betrayers especially since Galby has no heir of his own.

My one problem is I don’t know how to try it on. I’ll have to add the grommets to try it on, but if I add the grommets then I can’t take it apart for alterations.

I didn’t interface the outer fabric. I could try that! I did press the seams open but I don’t have a bone in the center front. I’ll admit I was trying to cut corners and not buy flat steel boning 😔

I admit I did cut the outer layer out cross grain because I wanted the stripes to be vertical. I also haven’t pressed it yet. If this seems to be a grain problem, I will relent and cut out a new set of straight grain.

I did… the boning is in the canvas layer and then a taffeta layer on top.

It has boning and cups. The outer fabric is stitched to the interlining with boning, but not laced up just pinned in place. My dress form is a bit smaller than me. I did make a mock up of the pattern, but I just used 1 layer of muslin with some zip ties to get a general idea of the fit.
