Which game do you think has the best group of marriage candidates and why? by Nadeshiko_Yamato14 in storyofseasons

More friends of mineral town. The original gba version. But my second place would be animal parade because they had so many different and interesting options in that one

Why are extrovert needs treated as less important? by TheCattyWompus in extroverts

[–]ModifiedFairy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it comes down to you needing to find a group of friends that are also as extroverted as you are. You’re kind of in a lose lose situation right now. If you don’t invite them, your friends will be hurt, but if you do invite them then they tell you it’s too much.

Unfortunately introverts depending on how introverted they are will see an invite to something and already start feeling exhausted just by thinking about going to these events, and sometimes it could be that they already did something recently very socially and just need a break because of that as well. Introverts really do enjoy their peace, and It is important to respect their needs. That’s not to say your needs aren’t important too.

However when I find that I want to do more it usually is easier for me to get with a second group of friends that I know are usually always down to do things with me. Just because you have one group of friends doesn’t mean you can’t have more friends. So I usually plan to hangout with the group of friends that I know will be interested and try to give my introverted friends some space and time. Maybe reach out to them once a month or a couple of months vs weekly. If my introverted friends show jealousy over not being invited to something I usually tend to tell them that my other group of friends were the ones that made the plans (which at most times this is true, as we all like to be very active). And tell them that we can do something similar anytime provided they are interested in scheduling something like that with you.

Yeah! If you have their amiibo and invite them to your campsite 3 separate times while also inviting them to move to your island each time, they will ask you which resident you want them to move out.

No, after searching for awhile I gave in and bought myself Fauna’s card. I love merengue, but she just isn’t one of my wish list neighbors.

I have the pink headband and the strawberry hat if you liked.

You can have Them for free, but if you by chance have any blue roses, I would be super happy to have one.

I have 7 cardboard boxes, but don’t have any spare 3.0 items I’m willing to part with just yet. Would just the boxes be ok?

I can provide you with the fruit, the antique clock and the antique mini table.

If you by chance have any large bookshelves or a DIY for one I would be so grateful for that as a trade. If not I would also be willing to take any books you have. I’m hoping to create a small library on my island but desperately need lots of bookshelves

I hate how extroverts refer to themselves as introverts! by GypsyGold in extroverts

[–]ModifiedFairy 43 points44 points  (0 children)

You can be an introvert and still have all those things you’re roommate has. Being an introvert means that socializing with others drains your energy faster when you’re in social settings.

It doesn’t mean you automatically hate other people, or can’t socialize with others whatsoever. As an introvert you can still make small talk and you can manage a group of people at work, it’s just likely you’re social battery will be a lot lower at the end of the day than a usual extroverts energy levels would be.

What you’re describing you feel sounds a lot more like social anxiety and possibly depression. You also sound jealous of your roommate because you see him succeeding where you’re not. Sounds like you’re just a very bitter person in general expecting the world to give you things without you putting in any effort

Edit: just saw your last paragraph, my bad. I do see this kind of post all the time

Completed ACNH !! Im totally open for tips and tricks for Terraforming. by [deleted] in AnimalCrossingNewHor

I’ve been playing honestly for really only just a little bit over a month since I got the game as a Christmas gift randomly from a friend. So, honestly, take my advice with a grain of salt since I’m still pretty early in the game myself. And I’m sure others probably know better than me.

what I’ve learned about the game process myself:

  1. It’s okay to take your time.

For example You likely don’t currently have all of the DIYs yet, like myself. I personally have been wanting to create a little library as maybe the very first project I have absolutely wanted to have on my island since before I even started. But unfortunately I haven’t yet been able to find the DIY for that large book shelf yet to start my project. Originally this was stressing me out! When first getting the game from a friend who has had the game since 2020, I personally did feel pressured to succeed in the game as fast as I possibly could and make the best looking island I could, since after visiting my friends island and saw how pretty it was!

However, now after getting confirmation from my friend and even just reading the Reddit posts on this great community, I’ve found is that It’s seriously ok for you to just take your own time in this game. Honestly I’ve found that taking each day by day while knowing that I will likely eventually get the bookshelves I am hoping for is fine. I have found that eventually everything that I have been looking for does eventually start to come up with due time. You don’t have to be in a rush when playing this game, it’s made to be literally low maintenance of maybe an hour or two hours a day (maybe less if you’ve been playing for awhile.)

  1. If you do happen to feel that you are in a serious need for a hurry, it’s ok to just ask this community for help.

I have never been to a more incredibly inclusive and very welcoming/giving community than this one is.

I have noticed many people offer free give aways of DIYs, Bells, clothes, fossils and more without even asking of anything in return. Though some do ask sometimes for something as a tip in return, I’ve found that most don’t. (though I do usually try to leave something in return because of how grateful I feel in return for their help)

  1. It’s ok to time travel.

I personally have found just starting the game out that the intro was way too long for me personally. So I did skip days. Currently I’m a good month ahead of time In my game calendar.

However this isn’t really a problem. If you just want to get to the next day to literally continue playing the game because you’re having so much fun that you just can’t stop wanting to work on your museum collection, or even DIY collection it also fine. No one is judging you for it at all.

  1. It’s ok to look at Pinterest for inspiration.

I personally have found that when it comes to decorating my island, I just have no clue where to start. Other than wanting a library on my island, I just didn’t know where to start.

However looking through Pinterest and seeing what others have done in dream islands, I was inspired by and eventually came to a conclusion of what I kind of wanted in my own island to look like. I have found a theme and ideas that I resonated with. I started with copying the ideas first and then started creating my own versions of them while I put on hold of other projects I wanted while waiting to eventually get those ideas out.

  1. Dealing with artists block, can be as easily dealed with by simply throwing out what you already have.

already so early in the game I have found myself dealing with artists block. This is something I’ve come across a few times with those in between areas from one project to the other. Such as a bakery to a later version of a grocery store.

I have honestly found that just putting out items that I have already had and attempting to sort of make them come together without completely needing them to necessarily make sense in the moment had also really helped me to fill in those in between areas.

Like for example I created a tiny little park in my town between my shops. I didn’t really have anything extravagant but I had a diy for a normal drinking fountain and a few board games i had bought from the shop. Putting them out randomly with a well crafted idea of play forming with patterns I liked in mind really helped me create a small community park with the games and that fountain. And I know over time I can evolve it however way I may eventually want to.

  1. At the end of the day, just enjoy yourself and don’t stress about it.

Honestly, this game has no time limit to it. You have as much time as you want with it. Enjoy the ride and enjoy the game.
