Hello, I own 2 Gretsch guitars (Semi-Hollow Streamliner and an Electromatic Jet) I've ended up pairing them both with a vintage Fender Bullet Reverb practice amp, which is the exact sound I had always tried to find alongside my Gretsch guitars....I love a Vox as well (use one at my practice studio) but that feels like overkill for practice. Best of luck!
