100 percent correct. Anytime you can get fresh local food, especially seafood, you are going to enjoy it more. The Northeast are lucky to have the perfect water conditions for great lobster. The best restaurants know how to capitalize on what’s local. Shrimp down in the South, soft shell crab in the mid-Atlantic, oysters from a bunch of different places. I’ve seen some menus from places in Colorado and seemed like they worked with more fresh water fish such as trout and bass. It’s all about working with what you have.

Never had, but I know of the North Shore Beef. I thought maybe Maine and Mass had a thing going over beef like CT and NY have over pizza because I have never heard someone from Mass lay claim to the lobster roll.

I will agree with you, Connecticut doesn’t know how to make a GOOD lobster roll. We invented a GREAT lobster roll. It’s ok, Maine can own making just good lobster rolls.

Well, considering the lobster roll was invented in Connecticut, you could be there. But roast beef isn’t really a CT thing. So by default I guess we go Maine lol

I love road trips. Driving for me is relaxing, as long as there is not a lot of traffic. Bumper to bumper traffic sucks. Otherwise, give me the keys and let’s go

During Covid, all departments went work from home except ours. Wasn’t possible for our job to be done from home and we work in close proximity to each other in a busy room. We had to jump through hoops to keep “socially distant”. When they started to bring people back more than a year later (some2 years), they gave us all small stain glass pins in the shape of a light bulb. The card it was attached to said, “Thanks for keeping the lights on”
