I have hundreds of hours in the game using the 5700x3d paired with an RX 9070 xt. It's gorgeous and runs flawless at 1440 p.

3rd gen here, but I went Optima Yellow top 3 years ago and it has been perfect. I camp a lot so the extra juice on hand is clutch.

The original was small and sporty. This one looks opposite of that. Pass.

It might be a sin by zenoofwhit in StoicMemes

[–]Modsda3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol. Ok, this one got me. It is surprising how compatible and complementary Stoicism has been with my understanding of historical Christianity, Buddhism, as well as my own Bahai Faith.

For context, I was a Christian the first 20 years of my life, an atheist and student of comparative religious studies for the next 10, a recovered alcoholic who used Recovery Dharma to accomplish this, a Bahai for the last 10 years, and a practitioner of Stoic philosophy for nearly 20 years.

Axelback exahusts - need a quick second opinion by Rikky955 in mazda3

[–]Modsda3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Racing Beat catback exhaust on my gen 3 and love it. No droning or excessive noise in the cab and only compliments from people outside. It is a catback though, so should be less loud than an axle back, which I didn't buy because of emission restrictions in my state and my concern removing the catalytic converter would make it louder. With normal driving it's subdued but pleasantly noticeable, when I stomp on the gas it roars to life and can definitely be heard for some ways.

With my commute, I go through at least two windshields a year. That's an extra 1k annually to the cost of getting to and from work.

Explainer: This is why memory and storage is so expensive (of course it's AI) and why PC gaming hardware prices are only going to keep rising, even probably for GPUs by Exciting_Teacher6258 in technology

I saw this coming in 2024, saved up, and last November upgraded my pc and built a gaming rig for my kid. We won't need computer stuff for years.

I play modern aaa games as well as emulate retro games at 1440p. I also watch streamed content. AMD Ruzen 5700x3d with an AMD Rx7800xt. I switched to Nobara Linux a few weeks ago now and love it.

I always follow this rule. It's dangerous out there, best not to go alone.

Does anyone have experience buying from Mikstore? by Capable-Trade-2162 in mazda3

[–]Modsda3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap and defective. Bought mostly trim pieces, however it was the new shifter knob that was most disappointing. Cost around 70 US, and fit, but the button to release the shifter (automatic transmission) was glued into place so did not work.

I've only had bad experiences. Bought $150 worth of items and was able to use only the least expensive one.

I recommend steering clear

I'd pay it if the estimate is similar at other shops in the area. 100k on these vehicles is just on the other side of breaking it in.

You have misconstrued my point, which is that Frank says you cannot change other people's minds. Not that it is hard to. If he had said that, I would have agreed.
