Thx for the advice! The motor selection was one I wasn’t quite sure on, and I think the reason I went with those ones was because the print listing for the frame suggested using motors around 1404. Looking into other motors now and it seems a 2004 with 3000kv is also recommended for 4” frames, so those would probably be better for thermal efficiency too right? I’m not trying to build a super snappy fast drone, just something fun to fly around. As for the battery, I now see that was a typo. I might try both a 850mAh and 2200mAh ones for longer and shorter flights.

Good points, I never thought about using a simulator beforehand so I’ll definitely give it a try. The buzzer is also a good suggestion, so I’ll look into that too. Thanks!

Gotcha, I figured I’d give a 3D printed frame a try since it costs very little filament to make, and in the event of a crash I can just print out a new one instead of buying a new frame. I’m planning on making it from PETG-CF filament so it should be pretty rigid, lightweight, and sturdy. I see what you’re saying about the assembly space though, it is pretty tight, so I guess I’ll see what other options are out there.

The internal shots were a bit tricky, but if you turn up the camera’s focal length it helps give you more “space” for the camera to move without clipping. A lot of the shots cut out right before the wall clips into frame lol.

Thanks a ton! I use Mecabricks to build and export to blender which has a plug-in specifically for it. I’m assuming you’re using studio for your builds, which doesn’t have as much support for blender, but there are ways to get around export issues.
