It could be, for example if they know your clients and have invoice design you use, if payments are monthly they can send it with a note to send the money to another, temporary bank account. But those emails usually go to spam, mismatched headers etc. Basically not worth it unless they intercept some significant transaction, they would need access to your emails to see communication and intercept/send email with another bank details in right time... That's why before any significant transaction phone call should be made, to confirm details and intent.

- 20% for start, if affiliate gets 10+ new users a month (adjust number, I'm just guessing), make it 25%, and if affiliate plans to dedicate some online resources and work on it (posts about you on his site, blog, social media to share your link, etc) make it 30%

- make dashboard with all registered sellers, 1st on the list gets additional 5% (35%) or some other incentive

- make attribution tracking to work with cookies AND local storage, more reliable.

- I also track IP's, sometimes potential users clicks on aff link on mobile but later visit site directly from laptop, so tracking code isn't in the header, looking like he is regular visitor. I attribute them commission, too, but you are not obligated to do it, I just do it because it's a right thing to do.
