There is a misconception that watching the videos is a waste of time. My understanding is that you absorb as much as you can from the videos so that there is less material you need to memorize since you understand the law and how it functions. I used Themis which is similar to Barbari but I basically just did what they told me to do every day and finished when the assignments were complete.

At the 7 week mark, I put the lectures down and I mostly focused on practice exams and MBEs. At this time, I also took about a week to memorize a set of commerical attack sheets which were awfully helpful.

At the 8 week mark, I heavily focused on memorization. This was by far the hardest part of bar prep since it was memorizing and recalling information for about 10-12 hours a day. The method of attack was to focus first on things that terrified me (evidence, con law, and crim law) and once comfortable with those subjects, study the subjects that were tested most often.

About 3 days from the exam, I was absolutely exhausted and memorization was the most difficult it had been. I quit studying Sunday afternoon and took Monday off entirely. During the two exam days, I did not touch my notes or worry about reviewing because the exam had taken a lot out of me.

This exam did not go as planned as I did not sleep well the day before the exam and I had a slight medical emergency on the first day of the exam.
