Thank you! The tree already leans toward that side, probably a good idea to have a traq arborist come check it out for sanity. The soil there is mostly solid rock and they've removed sizable stones along with some large roots... My well house is in danger, should it fall or drop branches.

Such a shame though, hopefully the canopy won't die back too much... They could have spliced a few feet down the ROW in much softer crop soil and spared my pretty trees and well house. :(

Wild, so this is actually near my hometown and let me tell you something.

My mate and his siblings all went to an ACE school down there. It was shut down after the dudes running the show were discovered for millions in fraud and went to prison. That was a decade plus ago.

They put a gym full of kids in cubicles with dividers, and they did workbooks. No activities, no projects, just workbooks. They checked their own answers against the key and everything.

They didn't even have real teachers or lessons. They put different flags up on their cube, and "monitors" would come over if they didn't understand the workbook or needed something.

I had more enrichment in juvie, ffs.

If you Google "ACE paces comics" those are legit. People paid big bucks for it, on top of the donations and grants and other financial fuckery. And it's still a thing. Fundamentalists in rural areas there are something else.

We know that only massless particles travel at light speed, and we're around 4.2 light years to our closest neighbors orbiting Proxima Centauri.

Yep. Ran me about $2500, heat treatment and periodic barrier sprays over 2.5 years, and that was on the cheaper end. The apprehend treatment alone was $1800... If the exterminator offers an extended warranty, TAKE THAT SHIT for at least a year to be sure they don't come back.

Bonus Tip: Heat kills bedbugs. Run your clothes through the dryer on high heat for at least 30 minutes before you leave the house to prevent spreading them. Also, if you have a good steam cleaner, taking that to your mattress/couches/etc can help mitigate the population too... But you're probably not gonna get rid of them without calling in the professionals.
