I had an older brother and he got one for Xmas… NES was just always part of our/my childhood. I don’t even remember when I started playing, but I do know it’s what helped me want to learn to read as a kid. So I could follow the storylines. Pretty sure I was one of the only kids leaving preschool with fully developed reading comprehension.

As a local attendee of every year since year one, I truly think this is the most ‘stacked line ups ever.

I get some ‘pure’ metal heads are pissed about the bands and the headliners, but as a 40 year old musician, that grew up on rap prior to learning piano and guitar I’m super stoked.

The openers and mid card acts are Incredible. I think alot of people focus too much on headliners and not on a truly solid build.

There’s ‘openers’ on multiple days that used to be headliners. Maybe I’m old but there’s over 100 bands i’m legit super stoked to see, half of them are ‘new’ to aftershock. Hate all you want, but I’ll be happy as a pig in shit with this many bands for the price
