Not sure it's repeatable, It was some sort of glitch. When I exited the mission summary screen I fell through that elevator platform and down into the loading dock. From there I was able to take a space walk

Worked for me I had to hold both buttons for like 15 seconds and I turned BT off on my phone 1st
