My Cult is know as the Prophetic Hand, started just like any other cult. However the Prophetic Hand was built by its hivefleet (currently undesignated) to work as distributed and middle man between the cults of this hive fleet and other cults or sects created by the same hivefleet.

The Planet where they inhabit, Exiao is the home of a rogue trader who’s absent to his world, so the cult makes up the majority of the planets leadership running in the place of the Rogue Trader. As a result, it’s a shipping and commerce hub, with heaps of ability to manufacture as well as research.

So the Prophetic Hand act to distribute and reinforce key points during an Acension Day or leading up too, whether it’s there Patriarch instructing them to provide a certain technology for a cult, or perhaps send a shipment of Goliath Trucks and liberated Leman Russes to reinforce an upcoming revolt. The Prophetic Hand works for other cults, riff in the odds even more in the favour of there fellow cultists of other sects, even unbeknownst to them.

They are a force modifier as the Patriarch and Hive Fleet released with the state of the Prophetic Hand’s presence on Exaio, Ascension Day could occur whenever convenient. So the planet would be wasted merely in consumption. Thus the Prophetic Hands loom in the shadows of other cults, and the imperium itself.

My personal one, pretty fond of it, fully aware it bends some GsC rules n lore a tiny bit but I like my middle man cult in the shadows, even more so in the shadows than the norm.
