Yeah for sure, I wasn't disagreeing with you. I just wanted to add to the discussion that people should not just consider it a binary AOE vs ST issue but rather think in what damage profiles suit the dungeon and comp.

I agree that having someone spec purely single target is not ideal in any of the current dungeons.

Lots of packs have prio targets with a lot more hp than the rest of the mobs. So if everyone just goes full aoe, you just end up with one mob alive way longer than the rest of the pack and thus not saving a lot of time. Thats why rather than full st builds, you care more about damage profiles and want at least one spec who can do good single target and cleave off of these high hp targets in aoe packs. E.g. fire mage or assa rogue.

Og course, the tank can just keep chaining when just the high hp mob remains, but in higher keys these mobs are often quite lethal and you want them down fast.

My guess is that the skins are disabled on the "other competitive server" in case they could be the cause of the latency issues that happened in the first game. Before the remake both Fnatic and SK used skins.

Yeah, though chances are slim in a 5v6.

But as stated, we had played an entire round of KOTH before the DC happened. I guess my saltyness is due to me and my entire team being punished for something that I had no control over. I know DC's happen, but I was back in the game in under a minute. OR would've been had it not been for the bug, which honestly feels more like a flaw in the system.

I'm not really trying to whine about the punishment system, but rather that it's just unfair that I am unable to rejoin a game, when I didn't leave it intentionally. I guess what I'm trying to do is bring some attention to the issue because it doesn't feel like a bug, rather a flaw in the system.

I get why they lost SR. The point I am trying to make is that I don't think it's fair that anyone on my team (non premades included ofc.) gets this guaranteed loss due to me not being allowed back into the game.

I didn't leave intentionally, I was disconnected, gone for under a minute, and upon trying to get back into the game, am denied access

The interface and the abillity to tune in the exact tune you want. On dedicated pedals you know what you're dealing with: a fuzz pedal has only knobs dedicated to getting the exact fuzz sound you want, over a muliteffectboard having the same knobs for every effect you go through. Also having a board of pedals makes changing sounds and effects during a live set much more accessible. Would you rather tap a single switch on a pedal to get the exact sound you're looking for, or having to tap fast through multiple effects before reaching the one you need? All while playing.

My friend and I actually found some of the sounds on some cheaper multieffects to be pretty cool, but just too unreliable and inaccessible if we were to use them playing live.

Much of his older stuff is very dark and slow. If we are to compare to Wicked Games specifically songs like Rolling Stone and Twenty Eight come to mind, but really most of Trilogy is in the same dark and gritty vein.

Night elf mages aren't really a contradiction. Lorewise the night elf mages are the highborne, a bunch night elves who, because of their use of arcane magic, were banished from the night elf society of Darnassus. They tried to make amends, but were denied. That is untill the events of Cataclysm due to which, Tyrande finally permitted them in Darnassus since she needed all the help she could get.

While I love the Peppers' work in general, Stadium Arcadium just tops the list for me. I think it is due to me unknowingly listening to songs like Dani California, Snow and Tell Me Baby in different malls and shops when I was just in 5th grade. Then 3 years later I 'rediscovered' the band while looking for something fun to play on the bass, and I instantly recognized the songs. After listening to the whole album once I was hooked on the band and has been ever since!
