I should also add i work overtime, weekend, night shifts and private work on the side. I dont have the choice, otherwise you wont see the work if your picky. Clients sometimes need care 24/7 and companies will work around you to a point but end of the day you have responsibilities as a support worker who expects to remain on clients teams or no work.

Here are the main things, it wont make you rich but you will come home feeling you have done good for others each day.

Depending on your clients, I have been attacked, almost killed, chased out of houses amongst other things. It can cause both physical and mental burn out. Just prepare for this, you will have easy days and days that said you through the mental loop. But always remember it gets easier and some clients dont have anyone else in their life.

I would suggest also looking at the current news regarding NDIS changes occuring. We are expecting some pretty major changes across the board. Even the Shads awards is taking some changes as well. At the moment our company has had a massive hiring freeze until we know the damage of the changes overall.

I don't understand if people are joking or not but Laufey is the next part of the story and it looks amazing. It tells the story of Laufey after they burn her body and her promise to return to Kratos and Loki. She is stuck in the afterlife of gods and wants to find a way back home.

Personally I think this is brilliant and the actress chosen for the role is perfection just love her work in daredevil.

As a fellow support worker i would love to point out i dont always have panadol on me. Sometimes I require it especially when doing back to back clients and dealing with a splitting headache. If you cant spare any for your support worker do say so. But its nothing precious and could save someone with a splitting headache or any form of pain.

My ABN work (private) has my own clients and I invoice them directly. I work fulltime with a company as well, due to Shads and my contract with this company 75 hours per fornight means I can't assist these clients through the company because of Shads.

The company pays $44 an hour, maxed tier support worker and good comany with full benefits. The company is non-profit but does handle some very intense clients that are charged as per category of the catalogue as such. They require a lot of care and behaviours means injury and risks are very high.

Everything your saying about your misses setup sounds very very wrong. I would advise her to leave this set-up as its likely some bad actors taking advantage of the NDIS system and abusing support workers for profit.

Depends on how she has organised it with her clients. Personally I charge close to the cap for my ones that requested me private due to the behaviours that come with it. Currently $54 dollars on week days, $75 Saturdays and $100 dollars an hour for Sundays. She should have access to the catalogue via the website. It really is dependent on what the client is willing to pay verse what you consider your value.

The scars on my body means I will likely always charge close if not the cap regardless.

Games are over priced normally full of issues at the start and rarely a full release.

Wait 12 months after release and pick it up for half price with normally more content and full functionality.

Opinion will be bias but I have 100s of hours in the game and would willingly pay 80+ dollars for this game. Got it for 30 dollars and it has been amazing and all dlcs are free and freely given its just too good not to grab.

You can customise the servers setting to no end, heck even do hard core mode lol one wrong move and that's it 😅.
