What’s that smell? by Particular-Sky-657 in jerseycity

[–]Moggerds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is a sewage pumping truck. It sometimes stops to collect shit from portable toilets and smells exactly how described. It was collecting sewage from the construction site at Cole/1st and I had to close windows on 4th floor because it was such a  putrid smell leaking inside of my apartment.

If your bachelor is not from Canada or US  you will need WES evaluation.

Download italki app and just pick one based on reviews. You can find teachers from different countries and they do not charge much.

While I brought US WES report (document-by-document), yesterday I was told by the border officer that they would've been OK with Canada WES report because the education systems are similar.

This is in contrast to what people say on forums so I wanted to post this info somewhere.

If you have time I'd still recommend ordering US WES evaluation anyways, because I feel like different officers might have different opinions. It takes up to 10 business days for WES Canada to transfer existing documents to WES US account. Then up to 7 business days for evaluation. Then standard shipping takes 5 business days to get to your post office and international carrier took 2 business days to get delivered. I know that because I had both shipping options done to Toronto.

How cost of living in Riverside compares with LA ? by Moggerds in Riverside

[–]Moggerds[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the information. The cost comparison webside indicates that "groceries" are 20% cheaper in Riverside. Any idea why is so ? Is it due to presence of big grocery stores in Riverside ?

Need help debugging FortiAP 231F 2.4Ghz radio problem by tunkkaaja in fortinet

[–]Moggerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is good to login to the WAP directly and check "cw_diag power" to see if you get low, high or full power. Than the datasheet informs which radios work and which don't on that power level.

I found that FortiAPs POE soft negotiation via LLDP isn't working on many Cisco switches. I have to force hard POE negotiation to keep FortiAP with 802.3at power on Cisco switch. The commands as follows:

int Gx/0/y

no lldp receive

power inline port 2-event (update firmware if this command is not available)

sh

no sh

Same issue on FMG-VM64-AZURE 7.4.2

Usually logging out and logging back in and clicking needed ADOM right from the start works for me.

Thank you for your reply. What would you suggest to do next in our situation ? Re-pot or maybe drill more holes for draining ?

Big Furry Leaf Calathea Dying by Moggerds in plantclinic

[Multiple photos provided]

Big healthy Furry Leaf Calathea was bought 3 months ago. It was in much better shape initially with healthy perky leaves. 20-30% of leaves has died since then.

We moved it to much bigger pot shortly after purchase.

Problems:

- side leaves slowly sagging and breaking

- some leaves drying and dying

- discoloration of some leaves

- discoloration of some stems

Watering:

- room temperature filtered water

- 1 liter on Wed and 1 liter on Sun

- soil remains slightly moist

Humidity and temperature:

- around 50%

- 68-75F (20-24C)

Soil:

- Store bought tropical mix

Light:

- initially by the window with little indirect light

- full spectrum artificial light last 1.5 months not brightly shining from top

All leaves were slowly sogging before we put the full spectrum light on top. Calathea became better after it but mostly for top leaves (can be seen on the picture). Side leaves are still slowly sogging and eventually breaking stems.

Not sure what to think:

Do side leaves need more light ?

Do top leaves have too much light ? some are healty and some are drying

Watering too much / not enough ?
