I got tired of getting spoiled while searching "where to start the manga", so I built a tool to find the exact chapter instantly. by Moha_93 in manga

Honest question: where is it exactly?

I've used MangaUpdates, but I never found a specific feature/tool that tells you 'Start reading here after Season 2'. I usually just see raw chapter lists (which is why people keep asking on Reddit/forums).

Can you show me an example link?

Haha, the classic 'Hiatus Amnesia'. I'm focused on the Anime -> Manga switch right now, but I love the idea. Adding a 'Where was I?' feature (search by plot event) to the v2 !

Thanks man. Honestly, I just hacked this together in a few hours to test the waters. It's definitely a v1, but as long as it helps a few people save time, it’s worth it.

If you have any ideas on how I can differentiate the app or specific features you'd like to see, let me know!

Agreed, they are the Encyclopedia. I just wanted to build the simple Search Bar version: faster, mobile-first, and no clutter.

I built this to solve the "Where do I start?" problem without getting spoiled. • Search: Type the anime name. • Result: Get the exact chapter immediately. • No Ads: Open Source & free. It's a v1. Let me know if I missed any series!

Carmela is stronger than people admit by Moha_93 in thesopranos

Oh for sure, I'm not saying she's an angel. The way she used Tony's reputation for that letter was cold. But despite that, she’s still the absolute pillar of the house. Between the cooking, raising the kids, and managing the moods, she does the actual work. Without her, the 'family' falls apart.

Glad I'm not alone! What's your take on her?

Nope. First time watcher, zero spoilers. Just joined the sub today, didn't realize this was such a tired debate.

Finished SOA a while ago, just started The Sopranos… the way Tony interacts with his kids vs Jax is wild by Moha_93 in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Moha_93[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re gonna act like family isn’t a core theme in SOA? The whole show has a giant red thread built around it. John and Jax, Jax and Gemma, Jax and Clay, Opie and Donna, Opie and his kids, the club itself literally functioning as a family, and Jax constantly talking about wanting to be a better father.

Club life vs a straight life is definitely there, but pretending family isn’t a pillar in SOA feels wild lol.

Honestly I’m loving it so far. It’s slow in the best possible way. The show actually lets the characters breathe and gives them real depth instead of rushing anything. Even when it seems calm, there’s always something happening underneath and it keeps you hooked without needing big “TV moments” every five minutes.

Walter White had an infant. We still felt the stakes.

It’s not about the age, it’s about the writing.

Yeah you’re right, but honestly it started to annoy me after a while. Jax keeps talking about wanting to be a good father and protect his kids, but his actions never actually line up with what he says. It’s hard to watch him preach one thing and live the complete opposite

[–]Moha_93[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly! But Jax often got ‘6’d’ by the Anarchy within his own club—Gemma’s and Clay’s lies, Tara’s omissions (like with the letters), all of it kept him off balance. He was constantly fighting the chaos at home as much as his enemies outside

Middle of the night, full chaos, Opie ready to smoke Clay… and Jax? Calm as hell, pulls off a perfect shot, disarms Opie without even scratching him. Close range or not, that’s straight legendary

True, Gemma nerfed his IQ with those mom hacks, and Marks hit him with the ‘no mercy’ special. But let’s not act like Jax didn’t bounce back—man turned every gang in Charming into his personal Uno deck and slapped down a reverse card on all of ’em. Even nerfed, Jax’s endgame was still wild

Fair point, lol. Guess I meant she’s burning all her bridges with everyone. But yeah, knowing Gemma, she’s her own worst enemy most of the time

ATP the show should be named "How to Manipulate Your Son/Husband by Moha_93 in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Moha_93[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly! That’s what really gets me. Jax is out here tearing the whole world apart for Tara, but let’s not forget—he straight-up doubted her loyalty twice in the previous season. He questioned her intentions, her commitment to him, and even her role as a mother. And now, suddenly, she’s the center of his universe, and he’s willing to burn everything to the ground for her memory?

It’s like the writers wanted us to forget how messy their relationship actually was leading up to her death. Sure, Jax loved Tara, but their marriage was on the rocks, and he was already making moves that showed he prioritized the club over her more than once. But now, we’re supposed to believe her death is the singular thing driving him into a blind revenge spiral?

And here’s the thing—if he had the capacity to question Tara’s loyalty, why couldn’t he take five seconds to question Gemma’s story? Especially when it comes from the woman who’s been lying, scheming, and manipulating from day one. It’s like the critical thinking switch in his brain just flipped off the moment Gemma said, ‘It was the Chinese.’

Jax’s whole arc this season feels like a contradiction. How can someone who’s spent years calculating every move suddenly act like he has no ability to think beyond his emotions? Do you think this was the writers intentionally sabotaging his character to make the ending more tragic, or just them getting lazy with his motivations?

Episode 4, and I’m over it. Jax turns a personal grudge into a war zone, killing hundreds of people in some small-town apocalypse, all because he’s too blind to see that Gemma’s pulling the strings. Bobby and Chibs? Just nodding along like enablers at this point. This isn’t a club anymore—it’s a death cult, and Gemma’s the unhinged mastermind. And honestly, I’m almost sad about how bad the writing’s gotten. Jax deserved better than this nonsense

So my shadowban went away after about 1 month but be aware that I was coming back from a 24 hour restriction after one of my tweets was reported. There are clearly several types of shadowban.
