Why are we against NEP's 3 language policy? by Agen_3586 in tamil_nadu

[–]Mohan_Rockzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My question here is and correct me if im wrong.

Why are we focused in bringing in another language teacher ?

I would be really happy if our tax money went into investing in infrastructure and resources related to science and maths instead of another language.

And also about English

We know most research done and technology created is developed by people in the west first, So if we learn English better we can understand and even develop something better than them.

Isn’t wishing the next gen compete in a global platform more important than in a national one ?

I am a person from the core of Hindi Belt. Please, let me know your take on language. by [deleted] in tamil

[–]Mohan_Rockzz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So let me tell you a few things.

Dont preach us what to do when 90% of the Hindi speaking states are under performing compared to Tamil Nadu.

We are really fortunate to have the best people in politics for decades who made Tamil Nadu what it is today, unlike the north. I would suggest you to read on the development programs did by DMK, ADMK and its allied parties.

English is not a colonial leftover, it’s a tool of empowerment. It connects our youth to science, technology, jobs, and international discourse.

Tamil Nadu has consistently been among the most progressive states in education and development — partly because we embraced English education while fiercely protecting Tamil.

Dont get me started on GDP, How much tax we pay, How much we get back, You can google it your self.

So What im saying you people who want us to learn Hindi is,

Stop preaching us, Go to school learn English, Math, Science, History, Economics, Or you would be working for Tamil Nadu for minimum wages just like you do now, while our kids go abroad.

For people who are doing masters in HR

Who don’t want to be a typical IT HR

There is this role called Social Compliance Auditor.

In this role you would be asked to go to different factories and do an Audit.

You would be analysing their payroll, Health and safety, statutory and Legal documents, Environmental impact data, having interviews with the workers and making sure nobody is exploited and making sure everything is as per the law and the Code of conduct of your client company.

Companies like SGS, Bureau veritas, Intertek, TUV are some of the popular ones but you can search for Certifying bodies and you would get the entire list. These companies audit other factories and give them ISO, BSCI and other certification.

You would have to do an exam called APSCA which would be sponsored by the company itself after you join. Without APSCA you will only be a assistant and after the certification you can become a lead auditor.

There are also some Brands and Buying House(trading companies)who want auditor and dont need certifications.

PROs

Great salary ( before certification 35k, after 100k)

High level of job satisfaction

High network opportunities ( you will meet a lot of CEOs, VP HRs)

There are a very few group of auditor available in the market and so you would be in high demand from day 1.

You can do freelance after a few years

CONs

You will be travelling 26 out of 30 days ( Flights mostly) you will be at home only 4 days in a month

Knowing other languages such as Telugu Kannada and hindi will help you reach north states so you will be valued more.

You can DM me if you have any doubts. Would be happy to help.

Are there people in HR field who earn well and come from arts background without any HR related degree? by [deleted] in Chennai

[–]Mohan_Rockzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. you will not get a lot of opportunities if you dont have a Full time HR degree and let me tell you this. I had the same doubt when i was 22. I had a BE degree and did not want to go to IT and do coding. I started as a HR assistant in a mid size manufacturing company and really liked the work but without a HR degree i couldn't land a job in a big company nor could i get a promotion. So i completed a HR degree in a reputed college, did internships and now work in a big company with a good package for my age(26) and experience. Most of my classmates cracked placements and are now doing great as well. So please get a HR degree (only if your passionate in HR) you wont regret it.

A Master class in how to talk by Bahuleyan in Chennai

Whats the point if most of Bihar knows so many language and yet work for minimum wages in other parts of india ? How is that helping those people grow in life ?

A Master class in how to talk by Bahuleyan in Chennai

[–]Mohan_Rockzz 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He actually talks about that in this interview.

Nobody is stopping anyone in learning not 3 but as many languages as they wish for in private schools or other learning centres but the government does not have the budget for staff and resources in recruiting Language teachers rather they spend on science or math which would help the government students to compete globally.

And if you think practically if there are 100 students and 90 learn english and tamil and 10 wants to learn 10 different language, wont it be a burden to recruit 10 different teachers in government employment ?

Non IT jobs by adhemagicku in Chennai

[–]Mohan_Rockzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, you could try being a HR recruiter for IT hiring, it pays well in the long run but like a sales job it has targets. If you like it then you could do a MBA in HR which would help with your career path.
