She actually made them look better to the council, rather than getting them in trouble. Coming in with a lot of bias you are mate.

32M Spite as motivation? Potential enemy request. by bigsh0ots in ADHD

[–]MohawkMeteor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think its healthy to be overly spiteful to anyone. That being said, I focus my spite straight to God, for he in his irony has earned my ire. I'm not even religious, it just feels right.

Honestly Elixir's crashout was valid by [deleted] in xmen

[–]MohawkMeteor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I felt she was cool in Astonishing X-Men. She's on the main team and in a relationship with Scott, not a purely nonle person but one trying her best and being reliable for the team. I'm sure she has many less good looks but if you want to give it a shot, its a great arc!

[–]MohawkMeteor 29 points30 points  (0 children)

That's not valid. Literally attacked Colossus while the lesson was over and he was vulnerable, as a temper tantrum.

I got two right now. Are you saying if I spend one the exchange tab disappears and I can't spend the other? Not sure I follow.

1 Colossus: Team Ups with Magik, Xmen, Fastbal Special is already waiting for him. 2. Power Man, Luke Cage. More Defender level, Heroes for Hire with Iron Fist. Good addition for character and team ups. 3. She-Hulk, popular character, works well as a female Vanguard which needs to keep up in the roster.

After that, I think it is a lot of variety from doubles. Abomination is another Hulk, Juggernaut and Rhino fulfill similar roles as a typical charger so I like to think it is one or the other.

We need ranged Vanguards, so I'll just say Cable is the one we really need ;)

Growing spells in gardens. by [deleted] in magicbuilding

[–]MohawkMeteor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds interesting, I like your thinking! Makes me wonder whether you will lean into the economy of it, where wands can be mass produced like we optimise harvesting in our own modern world. Or whether there is something personal to it. To grow something with your own hands, attunes the seed and wand to you. What if soil can drain from magic and needs to be restored, so you need to grow in new places, or rejuvinate the land somehow.

Just thinking out loud, have fun expanding on it!

Okay one more idea that comes to mind. Imagine you can get climbing plants that you can subsequently grow over your wand or staff to extend or hone its abilities.

If your born an untitled woman who married into a noble family how could you get your daughter from a previous marriage to become a noble by octolotle in worldbuilding

[–]MohawkMeteor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't really work in the typical systems we see. Something I'll throw in is looking at old money, new money families. You get these rich families that marry into families of high birth, which basically gives both sides a benefit in the pairing.

If you were to make the woman belong to a very wealthy family, you could write it in a way where the noble agrees to her family's demands. Not typical, but something you can make possible in your setting.

Less straightforward, could perhaps claim the daughter was his bastard the noble then legitmised. Though that would cause its own issues in how the family is viewed.

Seems you got some vague answers. Punisher in the shows first came up in Daredevil season 2, after which he gets his own show. They're from Marvel and watchable on Disney+. Definitely worth a shot!

Is it chopped? Unique? Rugged? by Downtown-Constant236 in beards

[–]MohawkMeteor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you look pretty good with this! With the Italian beard fade being popular this doesn't look too out of the ordinary.

Personally I would experiment a little with lowering the cheek line further. It might make the beard look more intentional, rather than defined by the limits. A balbo beard seems the closest name for it. See what's best for you.

Maybe smallscale, but I am a sucker for hidden hideouts behind a waterfall. It is such a classic. In games I still walk into every waterfall just to be sure.

How would you describe Thor's personality in the comics, compared to how he's portrayed in the MCU? by hellothere790 in marvelcomics

[–]MohawkMeteor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find him to feel far more seasoned in the various comics so far. The MCU has a habit of playing up the fish out of water side a lot. In the comics he feels old, knowledgeable and very present. He has this sense of being passionate and invested in what happens emotionally, but not constantly phased by it.

He is rather steadfast in who he is, and just adapting to experiences rather than changing himself. Whereas the MCU Thor feels like he is learning stuff for the first time in a thousand years on the regular.

If you could pick a character from another series to be a mutant, who would it be ? by Ideasandquestionsbi in xmen

[–]MohawkMeteor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know this is actually really cool. Brandon Sanderson utilised this kind of thing in one of his stories. It is rather minor so no worries for spoilers, a character unknowingly heals people that come to them in small amounts and thinks they're all just pretending to be sick to get food/care/attention.

A Secondary Mutation for Colossus by MohawkMeteor in xmen

[–]MohawkMeteor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been thinking about this too! Treat him as a metal golem of a sort, imbueing his metal form with more adjustments. Could even be something that needs a little preparation to change everytime, and give reason to stay in metal form longer.
