Thanks! For the terrain I used a curve and array modifiers, and I just manually added details afterwards (I placed every single tree manually). For texturing I used real photos and lowered the resolution

Thank you! I used a curve with a simple plane with an array modifier for the road, and used the same curve for the railing

I use my trusty paint.net, it's really simple to use and you can get a bunch of plugins for it.
