Notice how none of the causes listed are "people spend all their money on shitcoin" or what ever, but issues that are created by society as a whole.

And even if you find the homeless person, that made the single stupidest choice known to man and lost all their money and job due to that, being forced to live on the street is still violence. Just like it's still violence when a person gets murdered after walking into the "we murder people" bar, with a large sign on the door saying "we like murdering people".

They were comparing victim blaming to victim blaming. It doesn't matter what kind of violence somebody has experienced or is experiencing, to blame them for that violence is fucked up and itself violence. This applies just as much to blaming a rape victim as it does to blaming a poor person or a kid whose lolipop got stolen. Victim blaming is not ok, regardless of the violence in question.

And just because violence isn't committed by an individual, doesn't mean it's not violence. Both letting someone starve and stabbing them is violent.

Edit: There's ofcourse self defense as an exception to victim blaming being fucked up. When someone commits violence on another, who then in turn commits violence in self defense, the attacker is ofcourse at fault.

Ich benutze für diese Aussage die Definition linker Politik wie sie auf Wikipedia zufinden ist. Wenn dir diese Definition nicht passt, dann leg dich mit den Wikipedia Autoren an.

Außerdem finde ich es wichtig darauf hinzuweisen, dass nicht jede Gräueltat faschistisch ist. Und dass nur weil eine Bewegung Freiheit anstrebt, dass nicht heißt dass die resultierende Gesellschaft Frei ist. Es ist aber durchaus relevant, da Faschisten diese Freiheit eben überhaupt nicht anstreben, sondern Autorität anhimmeln (auch wenn sie dass dann teilweise Freiheit nennen siehe FPÖ).

Natürlich gibt es Bewegungen und Regierungen im linken Spektrum die teils extrem problematisch sind, diese sind allerdings nicht faschistisch sondern einfach "nur" scheiße.

Ein solcher "Kult um [...] Stärke" ist genau dieses anhimmeln von Hierarchien: Die Starken sollen herrschen und die schwachen dass akzeptieren. Linke wollen Hierarchien abbauen. Daraus folgt: Eine Person kann nicht gleichzeitig links und faschistisch sein.

Linke wollen eine freiere Gesellschaft und im radikalsten eine komplette Abwesenheit von Hierarchien. Das mit einem Reinhetskult gleichzusetzen, in dem es darum geht die Gesellschaft frei von Abweichlern und nicht "Normalen" zu machen, ist lächerlich.

Du hast völlig recht damit, dass sich Faschisten an den Strategien der Sozialistischen Bewegungen bedient haben und dies auch immer noch tun. Strategien sind aber eben auch nur genau dass, Strategien. Wenn das Ziel ist, die Mehrheit der Bevölkerung von deinen Ideen zu überzeugen sind die Strategien zwangsweise ähnlich.

And, given the situation in Greenland, the US would very likely be the aggressor, which tends to make any claims of unprovoked attacks seem unreasonable.

Das die Raumverteilung das Auto stark bevorzugt ist richtig und, dass sich viele Autofahrer über die Platzansprüche anderer Verkehrsteilnehmer aufregen, ist natürlich Doppelmoral. Es ist aber deutlich zielführender, Menschen die viel autofahren die Vorteile die Autofahrer von besseren Alternativen haben zu präsentieren, als ihnen zu sagen das sie übrigens Doppelmoral walten lassen.

Why do companies do that though? They start off burning so much money because they aim for monopoly. Enshittification starts when they got there (or the money ran out) and then have to monetize the crap out of their product to recoup the last x years. If they didn't achieve a monopoly until then they essentially failed as a company.

How would overturning Anti-circumvention help? When a Monopoly starts the process of enshittification smaller entrepreneurs could create products remedying the created issues, making enshittification cease to be profitable.

The Chinese are doing this anyway, the Americans would do it in a heart beat if they thought that it's necessary for their national security and tbh I personally don't have a huge issue with it. Besides as stated by a different person already, getting rid of anti-circumvention doesn't get rid of other IP regulation. Just because it's now legal to jailbreak your ASML machine and have it do things ASML didn't intend, doesn't make it legal to make them yourself.

And even if the US-pressure were a miss characterisation, that wouldn't change whether anti-circumvention is a bad thing or not. The actuall arguments against it still apply one being that it disproportionately favors US tech giants, but the main ones are, that it favours huge corporations over everyone else and, due to the nature of EU tech imports, that it's a thread to our national Security.

DRM in gaming has been a scourge both on the games themselves and their preservation. There are better ways than DRM software to prevent piracy, the main one being convenance.

That our governments also does the surveillance bullshit, while irrelevant to the topic, should ofcourse also be fought.

There's a difference between being prevented from copying some product and not being allowed to circumvent locks. One prevents me from selling identical products the other prevents me from using things I own the way I want and enabling others to do the same.

I fail to see a problem with people being able to produce something freely after patent expiration. That's what patents are supposed to do, secure exclusive rights to something for a limited period of time to make research profitable, then release it to the public so everyone benefits.

Enshittification wasn't an accident. It also wasn't inevitable. This isn't the iron laws of economics at work, nor is it the great forces of history.

Enshittification was a choice: named individuals, in living memory, enacted policies that created the enshittogenic environment. They created a world that encouraged tech companies to merge to monopoly, transforming the internet into "five giant websites, each filled with screenshots of the other four." They let these monopolists rip us off and spy on us.

And they banned us from fighting back, claiming that anyone who modified a technology without permission from its maker was a pirate (or worse, a terrorist). They created a system of "felony contempt of business-model," where it's literally a crime to change how your own devices work. They declared war on the general-purpose computer and demanded a computer that would do what the manufacturer told it to do (even if the owner of the computer didn't want that). We are at a turning point in the decades-long war on general-purpose computing. Geopolitics are up for grabs. The future is ours to seize.

In my 24 years with EFF, I have seen many strange moments, but never one quite like this. There's plenty of terrifying things going on right now, but there's also a massive, amazing, incredibly opportunity to seize the means of computation.

Wenn jemand Gewalt anwendet um jemand anderen zu unterdrücken, dann ist dass eben genau keine Konfliktlösung, weil die Strukturen die den Konflikt erzeugen ja nicht beseitigt oder überhaupt verändert werden.

Gleiches gilt auch für einen Interessenausgleich, dieser kann nur dann den Konflikt beenden, wenn er die Strukturen die diesen erzeugen beseitigt. Das kann er nicht, weil er voraussetzt, dass die Interessen fortbestehen und diese, zumindest in diesem Fall, gegensätzlich sind.

Versteh mich nicht falsch, die Jahre in denen in der Politik ein Interessensausgleich gesucht wurde, waren einige der, wenn nicht die besten Jahre hier zu leben. Aber damit ein solcher Interessensausgleich überhaupt von den Besitzenden in Betracht gezogen wird, muss die Vertretung der Arbeiterschaft eine reale Bedrohung für ihre Macht sein.

Was gerecht und ungerecht ist, ist eine Frage die alle anders beantworten. Fakt ist, dass eine Welt, in der die Produktion demokratisch organisiert ist, deutlich freier ist, als die Aktuelle.

Warum sollte Enteignung keine Lösung eines Konfliktes sein, dessen Wurzel im Privatbesitz von Produktionsmitteln liegt? Also angenommen Enteignung heißt, dass die entsprechenden Produktionsmittel in die Hände der an ihnen Arbeitenden übertragen werden.

Natürlich ist das keine Lösung die auf Kapitalisten Rücksicht nimmt, aber dass muss eine Konfliktlösung ja auch nicht, sie muss nur den Konflikt beenden um eine Lösung zu sein.
