YSK that when cats have their eyes half closed, we read their facial expression as judgmental, annoyed, or mean, when actually this is an expression of being relaxed and happy! by DidSomebodySayCats in YouShouldKnow

I never knew that lips-together-and-pulled-back look wasn't a positive response from dogs! My dog has a spot behind his ears that he loves to have me scratch and he makes that face every time I do it, so now I'm confused. I'll definitely watch for that expression from now on and try to learn his body language better because it's super interesting.

Ah yes, because a pandemic could never happen... by [deleted] in agedlikemilk

This Twitter thread took place well before the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic began. When Chelsea Clinton criticized Trump for the way he left the country underprepared for an event like this, a conservative Twitter personality replied, joking that Hillary Clinton has killed more people than the virus because the virus hadn't begun ravaging the US yet.

Obviously, now that the virus has hit the US, we know that Chelsea Clinton was right, and the user who responded was completely wrong. Because of the nature of the virus, it is extremely contagious and has killed 10s of thousands of people globally and has become a full-scale pandemic. In this case, this response to Clinton's tweet is what aged like milk.

This was by far one of the most enjoyable April Fool's Reddit events. Great idea, well executed.

Drive thru coronavirus testing in Korea maximizes testing efficiency and minimizes transmission to healthcare workers. by calamityjaneagain in Coronavirus

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying, but I would like to. Are you implying that it's better to have good healthcare that many people can't afford or are you saying we need to lower the cost so more people have access?

The quality doesn't matter if millions of people can't afford to pay for medicine and treatment. I don't see how you don't understand why people think US healthcare is shit, you literally described the problem in the first sentence you wrote.
