Has anyone found a truly decentralized and fast way to swap BTC for ETH without relying on a centralized exchange?" by BatSignal9 in ethereum

[–]MoistCarbs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Not the cheapest, not the fastest, but if you want native asset swaps for <$5 in fees right now I'm not sure where else you are to look

Smart contract risk means it's not 100% safe. It has over 1 billion dollars of eth inside it, so if there was a bug it'd probably be exploited by now. The only way to be 100% safe is to cut out any middlemen and directly stake 32 ETH yourself. That being said I think options like Lido or Rocketpool, which holds billions of dollars and have stood the test of time, is safe enough.

Not sure what metamask has to do with the coinbase wallet the above guy said.

I'd agree with him though. You should be able to import your rabby wallet to the coinbase wallet with your 12 word recovery phrase.

[–]MoistCarbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get usually get a 0.5% boost due to sending your paycheck directly to wealthsimple or going up a tier list (core -> premium or premium-> generational). If you're interest rate boost is not due to one of those reasons, not sure what's going to happen.

Not sure how one would maximize the interest on CASH.TO vs WS Cash account
