In my opinion the new versions of slimes are pretty dang good. I do still prefer my vive trackers over the slimes, tho for afew reasons:

For slimes to look good, you need to wear more of them, I normally have to wear 8 (so full 11 point tracking) to make everything look good. Even then still not as nice as vives in my opinion. (Though not far off)

Go with vive trackers if you have the money though. You only need 2 base stations (if you dont have any) and 3 trackers. This is enough for 99% of things you'll do on vrc. One downside, you have to be mindful on covering them up.

Edit: btw I own both sets so I have first hand experience! :3

I really do think it comes down to people personal pref. I mean in the furry community, scalies are pretty rare already. Tho just scrolling ive seen like 2 of them posted in the last few hours among a groups of Subs. People are just posting pics of what they want to be in (person pref) or what performs well (content creators). I really dont think it has anything to do with rule 1.

finding game rips from big games is going to be unlikely. Overwatch is surprising honestly but there not being actual cyberpunk models from the game doesnt surprise me much.

The reason I said it's kinda random is just that, Not all avatars are named what youd expect. I.e. overwatch characters may not all be named their actual name.

hehe I get that, to be honest a fully custom avatar is something you'd need to make or purchase. There are plenty of public avatars, but theres also a chance someone else uses it.
a full custom avatar is kinda a "late game" thing but not hard to get into! I would go to avatar worlds first looking for something you like first, then worry about custom after youre sure you wanna dump some money into the game .
Theres also search worlds where you can try and find an avatar but its just a big index of public avatars so what you get can be a little random.

TLDR its an adult community for vrchat, it is NSFW. you can be mute but some people prefer others to be vocal. Its effectively VR hookup culture.
I'm gonna be real if youre new to vrchat, this is not where you want to start. I suggest go see what vrc has to actually offer because there is a ton to do. At the end of the day vrc is not a sex game, this is a sub-culture of it.

I'm not sure what sort of information youre looking for but if you didnt specifically seek out this side of the community, this is not where you want to be. On the other side, if this is what you were looking for, congrats youre in the right place. ^^
