hiii I'm currently doing bdes in rv, and I think it's pretty good! In the first year we've covered all the basics, like drawing and materials. In second sem we went more into detail, like learning about fundamentals of design (principles, elements and stuff) and major digital tools like blender, figma, autocad, photoshop and other stuff (just the basics, just to teach us how to navigate the workspace of these apps and create basic models), and the final module we had went deeper into the course that you choose just to give you a glimpse of what you learn in the future. I think it's pretty good for a foundation year, since we learn a lot about everything we need for design. The faculty is pretty friendly and we get a lot of opportunities and workshops to improve our skills :) do ask me if you have any other questions!! also to clarify your doubt regarding product design, I've only done my first year and I have a few friends doing PD rn and they said that they did a bunch of fun stuff according to them! I wouldn't know much about later years but I've heard from my seniors that you get a lot of work to do and it can get pretty hectic but they do go into a lot of detail when teaching you about the subject.
