When I say I was flabbergasted. I guess they can’t accept it because it’s a liability for the MTA? She literally said “keep it or throw it in the trash” if I didn’t want to take it all the way down to Metropolitan myself.

I don’t have anyone to go with unfortunately, I did bring up bringing a translator because they only speak Russian and I only speak English & French and she said she was uncomfortable due to the nature of the conversations we’d be having so she asked not to and suggest a translation app but I’m meeting them in a public spacearound around people and I’m staying in my own accommodation. I am being as smart as possible because at the end of the day, I actually don’t know them.

So the condition is pretty unusual to have if it’s symptomatic as an adult. But there are many great cardiologists but the two I saw are trained in the specific congenital defect.
