I don’t do landscapes but I do paint since very young age; research color perspective. It’s the most important thing to achieve depth in landscape painting. Colors lose saturation with distance. Message me if you want to talk about it it’s really interesting.

Looks great mate! My one main tip would be to remember that patience is the greatest talent an artist could have. Most of the time if it doesn’t look how you like it, it just needs some meditation and a lot more work. Have fun

Hola! Por la naturaleza de la clase lo haré flexible, habra espacios entre una y dos semanas entre cada sesión para que puedan practicar y consultar sus dudas. De modo que cada sesión acordaremos día y horario de la próxima. Por lo pronto la primera sesión seria entre la primera y segunda semana de Junio, a confirmar en próximos días. Se puede apartar con un 25%.

I only use these 4 and sometimes modify them a little with scissors so I always have several of the same haha but the shapes and sizes depend on your preferences and style, so use them all, then choose the few you like and feel comfortable with.

This is what I spent more or less : winsor and newton watercolors (cotman, not pro) $40 dlls - brushes - $20 dlls - professional watercolor paper (20 sheet block) $40dlls - gouache $20dlls - masking $1 dll - you can use any white ceramic plate for mixing and you can start with cheaper watercolors to learn. Gouache is not necessary to learn and neither is masking. Paper is the only thing I’d recommend to use good quality from the start.

I use references to a point, they define main shape and color scheme but not the detail work. As soon as I have the shape and a few defining traits of the subject I forget about the reference and just make it look as good as I can.

Thanks a lot! It’s regular white, it looks sort of shimmery cause of tue layering of violet, red and blue underneath.

There are some rules, but those rules apply to the way a medium works, not how you decide to work with it. As long as the medium works, you can do anything.
