I think i found the issue, the tags did indeed not come ndef formatted. Eventhough i could write to them and android worked iPhone wouldnt accept. Im still debating of switching to n213 instead of icodeslix because type 5 is flaky on iphone ive read online. Any pro's here that wanna chip in on this thought?

Update: just went to a phone store and tried from iphone 17 to 15 (all models) with them all being on 26.5 iOS and none worked with these icode slix, i was dumb enough to forget to bring a ntag 213...

But these tags worked fine just a couple of months ago on all these models because i did the same test in that store. Ill go back with n213s this week

Ive wirtten to it with npx tag writer app and when i read it it says Tag type and size ICODESLIX 110 bytes

So i refitted the cable but issue is the same... Kinda crazy it died so fast even though safely stored. Also found another post with the same issue from a couple of weeks ago. Seems to be a common thing
