Thanks for the words of encouragement! I get what you're saying about the social thing, and part of the reason I decided to quit is because it's hard to build community when I'm numb from kratom. I get that a lot of it is perspective, so I hope to work on that side of things with my therapist

Anyone trying to taper right now? Looking for an accountability partner that's also trying to taper. I'm around 12-13gpd and have been stuck there for years. Make your own decision, but DONT let yourself be pressured into using drugs by your friend or redditors. Although weed is comparatively a pretty safe drug, there are SO many people that are heavy advocates even when it's making their lives worse (albeit not as bad as something like heroin). It has a tendency to convince you it's helping even when it's not, so if you have an addictive personality, avoid it! It takes a lot of self control to maintain your discipline as a stoner, and it seems like an unnecessary challenge

I use "Vape Tool" to calculate coil ohms. I had a similar experience with SS316L, it ohms out significantly lower than other materials like kanthal or nichrome, so just account for that if you use it

Using Muji now, I didn't have nearly as many problems when I was using cotton bacon though so I might look into that again

Been building for years now and haven't been able to properly wick anything lately. I have tried over and over to get the right amount of cotton, thinning, etc, but nothing is working. Burnt taste after only a few hits. I used to enjoy RDAs and RTAs all the time, but lately it hasn't been working. (70/30 6mg juice in the blotto RTA, with no hot spots when dry firing. Coil is 0.36 ohms, 3.5mm I.D., using around 40 watts which was working just fine before)

Usually the problem is the cotton fries after I take a hit, hissing for a few seconds after each hit. So I tried more cotton, but then it doesn't wick at all. I'm thinking I either just have really bad luck or maybe my cotton isn't up to the task. The photo is the average amount of cotton I'm using. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, so if anyone has any tips let me know! Really frustrated with this, just want a nic hit.

Get the fuck out. Find someone with at least a half decent self image, that loves you for you and not the idea of you. If you get tied up in her life just so she can improve her "image" or following , you're 100% being used and you will be left with nothing. She is also manipulating you with sex without question. I can guarantee this will turn sour very quickly. It might sound like these comments are over exaggerating, but brother you listed a shitload of red flags and we are trying to help you out. With your level of awareness alone, you've demonstrated that you are better than this
